| I haven't got any experience of the manga or the earlier anime, thus I'm gonna watch this with open eyes. It wasn't bad in my opinion - all I can say is that there's always some disagreement on the CG when a show with it airs, I'm hoping it'll get better, but it's watchable as it was in this episode. Couuuuuuuuuld be worse. Ought to be interesting to read the discussion as the show goes on. |

| since my review/rant that I wrote on impulse while being kinda pissed of was deleted Im just gonna post it here: No there is absolutely nothing that makes me want to watch the next episode of this pile of garbage holy shit wtf Did you like the soundtrack of the first berserk? Do you remember songs like behelit and the gutts theme? Well brace yourself for obnoxious metal and dubstep bullshitFUUUCK!! Did you like the subtlety in the presentation of the old anime? I instantly rewatched the first episode of the original and guess what you first get 1MINUTE of establishing shots (WHITHOUT any exposition) that create an atmosphere and tone that this new piece of shit can only dream of. Add to that some extremely jenky looking cgi and you got yourself the new berserk. Fuck. Is this a fair review? Hell no! But seriously how the hell can something this ugly exist?! How could the animation director or whoever is responsible, decide "um yes this looks alright, yeah we can show this on television" HOW!? I honestly dont care how well the story and characters will be Im just not going to watch an anime with this kind of presentation. Anime is moving drawings, Anime is art, this is just an ugly mess. sry |

| The animation studio behind new Berserk only did moe anime so far... I knew this wouldn't be good. Animation like that would be fine as anime cut scenes in a game, but not in an anime. I can't understand how Miura-sensei could allow Berserk anime to be so low. I feel that the curse of Ajin and Aku no Hana will be strong in Berserk. |

| I have never seen the first make of berserk, but I have to say that am totally disappointed with this first episode, not really living up to the hype and its all thanks to the CGI, I have nothing against CGI but not when its used in anime, I'm sure this could have been a lot better |

| They done goofed, the OP and ED are the only good things, that and Guts is just as sexy as ever 😍 But I just can't seem to like this CGI, why do it? Ajin was pretty bad too, here I was happy that this would get a new adaptation, I could rather go and watch the 90's Berserk instead of this. 4/10 |

| Holy shit that was awefull as f***. The first 2 movies had some sloppy animations and I felt like the third movie was the charm. They got it figured out by the third one and really pulled off that hand-drawn 3dcgi hybrid stuff. The episodes had some great scenes where the CG could shine but 95% of it looked god awefull. Berserk didn't deserve this, they should have gone for another trilogy movie adaption and instead we got this... At least the soundtrack was great, they used some of the known tracks which was a great nostalgia boost. |

Do yourself a BIIIIG favor, drop this and watch the original anime, not the movies, the original anime from 1997, it may be old but its not so old that people from today can't enjoy, its amazing and the soundtrack is perfection. Or read the manga. This new series is a sequel anyway so your going to be confused. At least One Punch Man delivered on what it was and was faithful to the manga...this is a whole new level of shite. |

| I got super excited seeing that they're doing the show from Volume 1! I expected a complete remake, but this is better! I don't see why everyone hated the CGI. Sure, it bothers me, but it's not ruining the show for me that much. |

| The animation is....weird, but the music was really good i thought. Also i didn't know this was a sequel! I'm going to have to watch the first series sometime this week, gonna have to squeeze it in between my one piece binge watching :( Also why is Millepensee, out of all studios, doing this?? |
