It was a good episode. The main character is kind of an idiot. He got tricked into being part of a pyramid scheme. That was not his best moment. Joing the softball club was a fine decision. It's just as valid as joining any other group, just as valid as being a disciple honestly, it wasn't a mistake. And even getting trapped in that pyramid scheme wasn't really a mistake, because it's just life, and that's what happens in life. It's valuable moments, it's better than just staying in your room, being lonely. It was a funny episode. It must have been fun, somewhat to experience yourself. It's great that Watashi had help from Hibuchi and Ozu to escape from that scheme. It's also, I thought pretty telling that in the entire group of all of those people who are tricked in that Pyramid scheme, the only person to not talk about their feelings was Watashi. He clearly keeps it all bundled up inside him, which is very in character for him. But I wonder how the other outcasts would have reacted in a situation like that, like, what would Hibuchi, what would Hanuki, what would Akashi, what would Ozu, what would Jougasaki do in that situation? I feel like all of them would talk about their feelings. Watashi is kind of different in that way. He is pretty over analytical. He's an overthinker. He's hesitant. He's self critical. He's self- hating. There's a lot of negative characteristics to Watashi, but also things that just make him human. I think this episode portrays Watashi in a very critical light. He's someone who can get tricked into being part of this scheme there also shows that Ozu is above all of that. He's able to take control of that hot air balloon, and then get with Kohinata. Ozu is the main character, basically. Even if he's not. It was a good episode that I enjoyed. I'm glad I watched.
