| there alot of people who exaly throws away series ?(!) anyways I have a ex HD of 500 gb and im now at 200gb. Altho i have still some series in lower quality altho im fixing it atm. all at good quality it would be a bit more gb :) I dont have bleach and naruto filler eps tho. besides watching Anime i love to collect them as well, like a Anime library. Will never throw it away tbh |

| 100 GB on Disc (my 80 GB anime partition is full so i have more episodes spread around the disk) and roughly another 100 GB on DVD's. (Note: I download both .avi (~170 MB) and .rmvb (~70MB) so if i had all my .rmvb series in .avi i would have around +50 GB maybe.) Edit: Some math later i have ~270 GB of anime. |

Will never throw it away tbh Somewhat similar. I keep everything I download, unless it's crap and I drop it. If I continue it to the end, then I'll archive it. Simple as that. Once I get the series on retail DVD, I'll delete it from HDD (if I still have it on one) though I don't throw away burned DVDs of fansubs or anything... but I haven't burned DVDs for about two years now anyway, as HDDs are cheaper/more efficient/easier. |
| I have 300+ gb. Most of this is what I'd call disposable anime. When I only had my smaller laptop Hard Drive, I'd end up deleting TBs of anime. Now I have 580gbs of storage space I don't bother. More space encourages hoarding but I wouldn't buy another hard drive just to keep anime on. I sometimes backup stuff that I think I'd watch again but that's hardly anything! I've hardly backed up anything onto DVD this year, the notable exceptions are Lucky Star and Kanon 2006. |

| Probably around 10, don't feel like checking both of my labtop's hard drives. I erase after viewing so that explains the low number. Right now I only have Texhnolyze, the remaining episodes of Aria the Natural that I have not finished, episode 10 and beyond of Denno Coil, and a few episodes of Gintama stored. I prefer to buy my anime if I liked it so I have a decent DVD collection. |

| 100+ gb Hehe it's hard to maintain free drive on disc and i got something like 10 gb free now and I think it does not enable my Windows to work properly xD Well I don't care as long as i don't have slide-shows. |

| Yea i think i'm more addicted to downloading than to anime. The amount of space i have dedicated to non-anime movies, tv shows, games, and misc. programs dwarfs my anime collection, though most of it's burned to DVDs. As for anime getting cheaper, it was bound to happen. At the NY Anime Fest industry panel, the fact that companies were getting away with charging upwards of 40$ for a DVD with 3episodes that can hold 24 was a hot topic. Bit torrent has been tearing these companies a new one. |

| I keep anime on my computer until I watch it, and then I burn it off to DVD's to save space. So unwatched (or currently watching) on my computer is 147 GB's, and on DVD's I have about 330 GB's. Eventually, I'd like to get another 500+ gig hard drive and put some of the better anime back onto my computer for easy access, but it's really not crucial. |

| I know somebody in Perth with a sizable collection, I gave them at least a Tb, and they had a Tb or so of their own. Don't think they're the type that'd go to a LAN though. And I haven't lived there for years. Back on topic I did a tally of what I have fansubbed, and have 2x500Gb, 320Gb, 250Gb, 160Gb HDDs all full, as well as another ~Tb or so burned to DVDs. So that's roughly 2.5Tb... though I've since bought some of those series on retail DVD (and I have a lot of other series on retail DVD, too)... some day I'll get around to going through all the stuff I have on discs. My list is mostly stuff I have on drives, save for the big obvious DVD box-sets and movies. Pretty much if Madman has released the box set, I have it. If it's not licensed or not released in box-set form yet, then it's a fansub. S'the way my list goes. ^^; Kind of sucks though. Fansub quality (sub/signs/kara) is almost always superior to DVD releases. Though DVD video and audio quality is generally far better. So I often keep fansubs even after I've bought the box set. :\ |

| Harddrives are incredibly cheap these days. 500Gb can be had for ~$100 (depending where you live and which currency you use, price may vary a little) and even if you use laptops or aren't confident with installing a HDD to your machine, an external enclosure can be had for $30. Really no excuse anymore. HDDs have become cheaper than DVDs on a $ to Gb ratio. |
| I probably have close to 850 gig. I have most of my anime on DVD-Rs, but any ongoing shows I have saved on my laptop/desktop/external harddrive. I think I have ~250 discs though, at 4.7 gig a piece. |
