| Oddly enough people IRL have posed this kind of question. Was wandering through a hidey-hole loft comic book/dvd store with every obscure piece of visual fiction you could possibly imagine and after walking past his gargantuan manga section (and the 'hidden' anime section where, since he doesn't have enough room to display them all, he keeps all his anime dvds in a bunch of huge boxes that are tucked away in a ceiling-high stack in one corner) the guy who owned it was like "Lookin' for somethin'?" and I said "No I'm not a manga guy" and he says "Aw come on everyone needs a waifu." He then puled some poster of his, supposedly, from a large folder behind the counter. Some other people then went over to see what others he had. I could have facepalmed myself to death knowing people actually get so attached to fictional characters like this and proclaim it in public. |
