| I was kinda hoping Shirou would use, idk, a bow. They mentioned that he was so good at it but yet we never see him use one in anything other than a flashback. It's seems like the only reason they mentioned it was so we could make the connection between him and Archer. I would've be much better imo if he made a bow using projection magic in his Infinite Blade Works and charged up a shot while using the swords around him to deflect anything Gilgamesh threw at him. |

| loved the instrumental quiet version of the illusion hope people are now happy with how much of emiya played. archer saves the day. dat smile i assume the grail turning into a fleshy giant thingy was AO was kinda weird. enjoyed this episode alot. |

The final strike that cut off Gil's arm was amazing enough, I don't think I could have handled any more badassery without fainting. |

Nope, he can project almost anything with few exceptions like divine constructs and high level NP's. Only close combat armaments can be stored in UBW, including Lances, Spears, Shields, etc. |

| Lol this episode was full of bullshit. Archer uses unlimited blade works twice before his supposed death and yet he still has enough mana to help both Rin and Shirou? Then suddenly Shirou is strong enough like a servant? where did this sudden powerup come from? And don't give me the "archer memories" bs because he wasn't this strong in the previous episode. Like I stated last time, the power levels are inconsistent. They never establish it properly and expect you to have the VN knowledge. Another thing is If Gilgamesh had no intention of dying like he stated, then why didn't he use Ea when he was cornered? If Shirou wasn't worthy then how come he easily used it on that giant dickhand last time? smh the plot conveniences are real. 2/5 The only thing good in this episode was the action scenes. |

This episode went out of it's way to explain how shirou could beat gil both in close quarters and at range. Gil was never a great sword fighter as he didn't focus on the mastery of one weapon. Any other servant would have curb stomped him. Gil is the counter to every other servant but shirou is the counter to only gil (when he is too arrogant to Ea shirou to death). |
