| wasn't impressed with doom, a few shots looked ok but i spotted some pretty blocky textures in that trailer and in general most things ID has come out with recently screams of a company that isn't made for the modern gaming market. They still feel like a company stuck in the early 2000''s |

| Assuming it's true, it'll be nice to be finally rid of my 360. I'd be much more excited to hear backward compatibility with PS3 games on the PS4 though, I have a much larger PS3 library than I do on the 360. |

While I'm not a fan of the current flood of remasters that developers are throwing at the market, I do see that they have a purpose and they can actually be rather helpful in order to catch up on a series that has a new entry announced for the future, but I hate what they do with Gears of War and God of War. How would only these two games help new gamers and people who didn't get the chance to play the previous entries during the last generation learning the whole story and prepare them for the upcoming games? As for Gears 4, it looked pretty unimpressive. Animations, weapon and car models, HUD, it all looked EXACTLY the same like in part 3. Literally zero difference. Yeah, Gears of war was the exclusive that pushed the graphical department on the Xbox 360. Gears 4 just looks the same, from animations to character models and even the weapon switching. I mean, it wasn't necessarily broken before but it could have still used improvements in gameplay. |

| Conference was meh. Only good thing I found was backwards compatibility. I hope EA gives some ME4. |
| Doom and Fallout 4 were great, Microsoft with the backwards compatibility was something we wanted last gen but whatever, Rise of the Tomb Raider was pretty good as well though it felt like the first one just bit. Overall not really much gameplay, which sucks the fun of getting hyped for a game that has been obviously vertically sliced for trailers. |
