| At the moment I'm playing Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories - I finished Sora's story mode and I'm currently on Riku's. I wish the areas would be more... varying? Once you've seen a room of one world you know them all :/ The game has potential and the card system isn't that bad once you've got a hang of it but there are some major flaws that just can't be overlooked - in other words, the game could've been good. Oh well, I'm mostly in it for the story, anyway XD Aaand Final Fantasy XII. As a FF fan I'm a bit disappointed to be honest... it doesn't feel like a FF at all :/ Frankly, the only reason I haven't given up on it yet is Balthier (you just gotta love him!) and the battle system which is fun :) I don't like the feeling of playing an offline MMO I get while playing this. And I'd rather have a sappy epic love story again (I'm a sucker for romance :3) instead of that political stuff. But yeah, the graphics are pretty good and I like the characters (some of them at least). /rant XD;; |

Sure, I'm quite fond of the classic FF love stories and such, but I enjoyed FFXII quite a bit, especially the way the main themes in the game vary from the other FF games I've played. It's just nice for a change, I guess, without sacrificing the quality and polish and little things you come to expect from a Final Fantasy game. I do have a fair few things to complain about, but they're mostly gameplay gripes and fairly minor - at least they didn't detract much from my enjoyment of the game, though I did prefer the battle mechanics in earlier FF games. [edit] Almost forgot - I'm currently mulling over trying to dig back into a game I'd put back on the shelf for a while, like Chrono Trigger or FFVIII. Or maybe I'll play Folklore or finish Eternal Sonata... I just can't decide. |

| Right now I'm playing Counter Strike 1.6 and well I don't think I'll ever stop playing it ;D U can say it just by looking at my profile at xfire :D it's rather obvious =D I rather don't buy games (nor dl them) but I do exceptions for some games usually managers :> (FM 2008 now) I just love them. And in November I stoped playing WoW after half a year because after one of their updates I simply wasn't able to play because of latency probs :( But it was pretty nice adventure =D |
| Hmm I'm working on my planned re-run through FFXII and Dragon Quest VIII. Both very solid RPGs. On top of that I continue my lazy adventures in FFXI! Whenever I get my 360 back from repairs, I'll be up for Mass Effect and Blue Dragon. |
