| Natsu - insanely strong and has his power of friendship, guild, comrades, family and a dragon and the bastard still wants to get stronger? He made bread crumbs out of the God of War. I love the Juvia cover, yeh. Double chapters next week is awesome! But with weeks of double chapters gives me an ominous feeling of a hiatus in the forecoming future? |

| This is getting lame. Just what kind of training did Natsu accomplish in just one year? Even Goku from DBZ didn't get that strong in such a short amount of time. And if he did, it was due to special circumstances (heavy gravity, nearly getting killed and then reviving, super saiyan mode, etc). There was the time he went up a few million due to training alongside Gohan and Piccolo for a couple of years. Did Natsu get this OP due to training alongside Gildarts? Was there that much of a difference between the two? Was Gildarts ever this strong? I do believe some explanation is in order. |

I'd prefer if it was Gray's fight because we already knew how OP Natsu was after the this timeskip, and it's time for Gray to shine and show what he's made of (Unless Gray one-shots in the next arc to rival Natsu). get that Natsu has to be way stronger to be able to fight against Zeref or Acnologia but I really wanted to see the other main characters like Gray or Erza to show off how much they have trained/ got stronger rather than Natsu doing all the fights. I get it Natsu is OP and I have been shown that many times throughout these latest chapters but please I want to see more interesting fights and have other characters fight :( . Laxus had the same goal Natsu. "protect everyone" Laxus may be very very very strong. Gray had another goal (maybe not strong has Laxus and Natsu) to fullfill his father last wish! Gray may be equal or almost equal has Natsu |

| does nobody understand that all these 1 shot enemies are a prelude to something bigger? obviously they will fight better people otherwise the whole thing would be over. while this chapter probably showed the peak of natsus strength hopefully now he will step aside and we can see everyone elses powers and maybe theyll finally run into gajeel/levy etc |

| Nakama talk usually makes me go "awwww" but for some reason this time it made me go "eeeew". I wonder if Mashima's friends call him after they read FT chapters like this one and are like "u okay bud". Other than that, it was a predictable chapter. This mini-saga better end now. I want them to reunite all of Fairy Tail again... hmmm, there's probably gonna be a mini-saga for each major member of the guild, right... oh, well. |

Tartaros is an exception plus the entire arc was 80+ chapters long. There was talk about how the Avatar Arc was supposed to eclipse Tartaros but it never did. The main group was beaten in less than 10 chapters. And most were one shots. The demons were beaten but they had FT knocking on death's door numerous times plus they upgraded to keep themselves in the fight. And that's mainly due to Tartaros being a huge game changing arc.The Avatar Arc is more mini arc than big end game potential and that's not what we wanted. Because look at how OP Natsu is now. You can't stretch the story far to compensate for his power level now. The story has to end soon or we will continue to have Natsu overpowering opponents. Plus add the fact he is a dragon slayer who can go DF at will and the strongest demon from the Book of Zeref. Hiro has to end this now This was a lackluster chapter and it seems Hiro is trying to finish this quickly |

But he did not use dual mod doring Sting and Rogue as far as i remember. He only used his normal Fire dragon attacks. And people tend to forget. Just because they are called Gods, it doesn't mean they must be super strong shits. If They were super strong and a simple punch to the face could make them summoned, then i bet a lot of bad people would used them by now. Edit: Also, a lot of people wanted Lucy to contribute to the fight. It took Igneel's powers to beat this God. What would Lucy have done? The problem here is deeper than just natsu one shotting a god, the power scaling of fairy tail has always been a little off it really became bad during tenrou which in my opinion is where the series fell drastically but oh well I don't expect things to all of a sudden become great again it's just disappointing with how good this series started off. |

| Pros: 1. - Natsu and the rest of the team have developed strength wise. (And it was pretty cool imo) 2. Natsu remembering igneel probably the first time during this time skip was very sweet. Cons: The villains were VERY disappointing. ( Seriously though hiro, don't waste time building them up if they were going to get one-shotted in the end. I mean u had the guy summon A FREAKIN GOD and made natsu defeat him like it was nothing. Plus the avatar members and their powers sucked balls.) Well at least this arc is ending. Hopefully the fights in the future are going to have legitimate fighting instad of just another demonstration on how powerful natsu is now. Trust me Hiro, Natsu ONE-SHOTTING a GOD was a clear picture of his strength. Just want to find all these fairy tail members already so we can get to the good stuff. Like... -Is gray really going to kill frosch? -E.N.D'S appearance -Zeref -Acnologia -where the heck is Makarov?! Crossing my fingers that the announcement has something to do with a new movie. |

| It makes me sad that Fairy Tail was the first manga that was ongoing that I started from beginning and read on. As for the people saying this is good because it shows how strong END will be, come on now, we all know END will lose because END would be Natsu without Nakama and therefore he'd be weaker, that's how hell be defeated. I don't see why he didn't introduce the God's earlier, instead of using their first appearance to they could be buried. |
