Episode 1 [spoiler] Well, this was a fairly engaging start. Really enjoyed the episode despite the 'twist' of him being one of the deadly sins guys being predictable. The pig was pretty awesome, and the huge pig at the end was even more awesome so I'm looking forward to seeing more of them as well ^^. |

Ep 1 [spoiler] Another fantasy action title to add to the list for this season. I've read the manga for this one as well and I have to say while it starts kinda slow, it gets much better/darker after a few more characters are introduced. I'm definitely not much of a fan of the main character though. I just dislike child and happy-go-lucky protagonists in general. As a fan of fantasy, this is definitely one of the better ones of the season though. Hopefully they keep the ecchi/fanservice to a low and focus more on the characters and the fights. |

Episode 1 Another series this season with a great start. This was pretty interesting throughout and I am loving the style of fantasy they are using for this one. The pigs were, indeed, pretty awesome. I really liked Elizabeth's character design and her voice actress. I just looked her up and she was also Touka (Tokyo Ghoul), Akame (Akame ga Kill), and Asseylum (Aldnoah.Zero), Kaori (Isshuukan Friends) . It makes sense she was easy on the ears. |

Ep 2 [spoiler] Seems to be pretty spot-on in terms of following the manga. My only complaint would be visually the colors are just too bright and vibrant for this kind of show, especially considering the darker turns in takes in the future. I guess A-1 arn't ones for creating atmosphere though. Either way looking forward to seeing the other members of the Seven :D |

Episode 2 [spoiler] I'm loving the basic premise of this. A bunch of people traveling through a fantasy world looking for a bunch of other people is always fun and the show does a good job of making me curious about the other members. The details are a little rough on the edges though. The drama with the boy felt fairly rushed and it was just silly how the villagers were tugging at the sword in a 90° angle. No matter how much force they apply this way, it's not gonna move, it's gonna break at best. Anybody should see that -.-. The stuff with the spear was pretty badass though, nice way to end the episode. |

Episodes 1 & 2: I'M IN FOR THE PIGS AND THE SOUNDTRACK ALONE IF NOTHING ELSE. Dat spear bit though. Awesooooooooooooooooome~~ I had pretty low expectations, so thus far I'm actually really excited for how it's turning out ^^ FOR ONCE, KAJI YUUKI-SAN ISN'T ANNOYING ME AS A MAIN CHARACTER. Miracles do happen. |

Episode 2 I didn't much care for the first 16 minutes at all. Cringe worthy at times. Like Higashi mentioned, the 90 degree sword pull, the crying kid reuniting with the villagers, etc. The whole side story they had going was about as cliche and predictable as it gets. However, the entire ending sequence of the episode with the spear tossing was badass. I look forward to meeting some more of the 7 Deadly Sins and seeing more conflict between them and the Holy Knights. |

Episode 3 I liked this episode much better than the previous one. Aside from the groping/fanservicey nonsense, of course. I liked the imps and Diane is a welcome addition. She acted pretty cliche, tbh, so I guess I'm interested in her because she is a giantess. Once she made her appearance, I immediately thought of The Band of Seven from InuYasha. They also had a giant and seven members, though not much else in common outside of that I guess. The battle at the end was pretty entertaining as well. The Seven Deadly Sins seem pretty OP at the moment. Can't wait to meet the other 5 members of the 7DS. |

Episode 3 [spoiler] I have a feeling that Diane won't be my favorite character of the deadly sins, but I guess it's nice to have one member down. Additionally to the seven sins the members also seem to be tied to specific animals, it's gonna be interesting to find out what exactly that means. So for now I'm just looking forward to more worldbuilding and stuff. |

Episode 3: First half of this irritated me greatly. "No-one likes an uptight piglet." Excuuuuuuuuse the FUCK out of her for not being delighted about you molesting her. -______- (People have genuinely said that exact line, replacing the piglet, to my friends and I on several occasions.) But that aside, the second half got better (INCONSISTENT HEIGHTS THOUGH XD). Kind of interested in who killed Gilthunder's father and meeting the rest of the 7sins. :3 |

Episode 4 [spoiler] I loved this episode. This show is definitely solidifying it's spot in the top 3 of the season for me and Ban looks like a great addition to the cast. I would seriously like to marathon this. Maybe I'll watch in in batches from now on. |

Episode 4 Yeah, I agree that the Weird Fang caught my attention. I've got a feeling this on-going battle between them and the Sins is going to be pretty damn entertaining. I'm excited to see Diane in extended combat and how they are going to do it. She is so huge :P. Though, I didn't particularly care for how she took out the insect horde. It was hard to believe those pillars didn't miss any of them considering how spaced out they were. Oh well, just a minor annoyance that wasn't important. Looking forward to next episode!! |

Ep 4 [spoiler] Indeed can't wait for Bam! He's by far my favorite of the Sins. He really breaks the harem-like pattern that we have been seeing so far. Much more interesting knight designs to come too! I don't think they really managed to capture the grittyness of the armors in the anime as they looks a bit too clean and polished though IMO. |

Care to provide nice pics of the manga!armour? :3 I'd like to see but don't want to accidentally spoiler myself by searching. Episode 5: I feel like not much happened this episode, but that's almost definitely because I watched this immediately after work and I probably spaced a lot of it xD;; errrrrrrrrrrrrr Ban's still loose somewhere in the prison so GO BAN VS WEIRD FANG |

Ep 5 [spoiler] Yeah ofcourse, here are some examples of how detailed and "gritty" the armors look in the manga. I believe the author got a lot of inspiration from Berserk. Elizabth when she first shows up Seven deadly sins in their armor Alioni, the first villain These are all only from the first chapter, but you can get a good idea. As for this episode, I agree it was pretty uneventful. Some light ecchi and typical shonen-protag being OP. We got to see a little of Bam in the flashback, but hopefully they'll show his full badassary in ep 6. |

Episode 5 [spoiler] The armors really look great. Thanks for the pics battosai! I hoped for more Ban this episode so I was kinda disappointed at first, but it was still a decent episode and in the end I got some Ban in the flashback so it's all good. Probably not the best episode but I still ended up enjoying it a lot which just shows how much I'm enjoying this show. My body is ready for a full Ban fight next episode (hopefully)! |

Episode 6 [spoiler] This is way too enjoyable. I loved the reunion between Ban and Meliodas that casually smashed that magical barrier without them even noticing xD. Diane fawning over the serious expression of Meliodas made it even better. The little comedy bits at the end were also fun to watch, especially Ban's reaction to Hawk ^^. With some nice foreshadowing before the end of the episode I'm definitely looking forward to more. |

Ep 6 [spoiler] Great to see Ban officially join the team XD he really changes up the dynamic. I really like the team in this state, I feel the characters really balance each other out like this this. Yeah Ban is just great in general, should definitely give him as much screen time as possible. |

Ep 7 [spoiler] Wasn't expecting to see King so soon. I guess they really want to set up the characters as fast as possible. Anyway I liked how they did the backstory with Ban. I'm not super fond of King as a character, but hes alright and definitely one of the most powerful of the 7. |

Ep 10 [spoiler] Kind of a filler-ish episode, but the one thing that was important is that they introduced Elizabeth's sister and her body guard and this was also in the manga. Not really much going on so I'll talk about how I much I enjoyed the last few episodes with Ban's backstory and how they showed it in small parts instead of all at once like in the manga. Much more effective emotionally. Hopefully everyone understands why Ban is my favorite character. |

Ep 11 [spoiler] Yeah I have to agree Meliodas' power does feel really OP and without any really good justification. They still haven't gotten to explaining his origins/backstory in the manga so I really have a hard time sympathizing with him. Ban on the other hand had to suffer quite a good deal to obtain his power and honestly I just like his personality better lol. Either way another fun episode, not too much going on except being introduced to the new character Hauser. |

Episode 10 A bit fanservicy, but tournament stuff is always enjoyable to me. Overall a decent episode. The new Knights that were introduced don't strike me as particularly interesting though. Episode 11 [spoiler] Ban vs Meliodas was pretty badass, but I do think Meliodas is too OP without the show giving us any hint of an explanation for it, I agree with you two on that. |

Episode 12 So many new characters all the time and half of them already have some kind of a history with the Sins as well. I'm curious about that guy who has King in trouble. Veronica's death didn't really impact me much since I barely knew her but it was definitely a surprise. And getting to know more about Meliodas power next episode sounds promising! Episode 13 New engrish OP. Well, can't say I like it too much but it's not terrible either. There's so many puzzle pieces of worldbuilding in every episode. I want to know more about stuff like the demon and goddess clans they mentioned. At least now we know that Meliodas power strongly relates to demon blood as well and they also dropped a line about the true nature of his 'sword'. It's definitely keeping me interested but I'm afraid they'll build up way more than they can deliver any time soon, that goes especially for the anime. It would suck if this doesn't get at least another season. Episode 14 [spoiler] Damn, I should have trusted my instincts and stopped after last episode, now I'm stuck with a bad cliffhanger again >.<. But the episode was awesome, can't wait to see more of Gowther. |

13-14 [spoiler] Watching anime where you've read the manga always makes it hard for me to discuss things =/ since most of my posts are just speculation and it's hard to speculate when you know what going to happen. New OP wasn't too bad, I'm surprised this show is getting a decent budget, isn't A-1 working on like 6 shows this season? Anyway I'm not a huge fan of Gowther. They also introduced Guilla's little brother and gave her a little backstory and Diane got her hammer back awhile ago. |

Episode 15: Meliodas please don't grope traumatised women OTL;;; Enjoyed this episode though. Incidentally, this might be the first time ever that I've seen the sin Lust be 'represented' by a guy. Mildly interesting/refreshing, I suppose. I too am concerned about this show wrapping up :/ At this point I'd welcome another season, because it'd be a shame to end it only a few episodes after my favourite character joins with an anime-original ending. |

Ep 16 [spoiler] Wow I didn't think they would make it to this point so quickly. Anyway looks like the main plot has been more or less revealed. Can't wait to see Arthur in action. Also the short promo for Arslan Senki after the ED was pretty hype. |

Episode 16: Yeah, I heard they're quite close to catching up to the manga now...? Diane throwing Meliodas, Ban, and Gowther was my favourite moment of the whole show. I can't even explain it, but I was sitting with my face all like *O* lol. Somehow I just really had intense epic-feels in that moment that this show hasn't given me much of. |

Ep 17 [spoiler] Some great action this ep. Diane shows her resilience against Dreyfus' attacks. He really is crazy powerful though, but should be expected of the great holy knight. Kinda sad that Jericho can't see the corruption of the holy knights, atleast Guilla gets what is going on though. |

Episode 15 Poor Dale, I wonder if Guila will ever find out what happened to her dad. A good episode overall and Gowther looks like another 'unique' addition the the cast. I'd like to have some backstory on him though. Episode 16 [spoiler] The sudden kidnapping and Meliodas ensuing rage were pretty intense and from there on the episode was just great. So much stuff happening all the time. Honestly, a bit of a slower pace wouldn't hurt the show but this way is fun in it's own right. Whoever that Arthur person is, I'm looking forward to the upcoming battle. |

I'm in catch-up mode. This series is pretty easy to marathon, so hopefully I get fully caught up soon... Episode 7 King indeed looks much different. It goes without saying, but there is definitely something more to the story between Ban and the guardian girl. Really enjoyed the flashbacks and story progression this episode. I'm very interested to learn the rest of Ban and King's stories. Episode 8 The female holy knight seems pretty strong. Also, that story between Ban and Elaine was very touching. I'm really loving Ban's character. The fight sequences were pretty standard this episode, but still quite entertaining. Looking forward to seeing King in battle. Episode 9 A nice little set-up episode here. I thought at first they would run through the tournament without any issues, but it seems several of the villagers know they are the Sins. May be tougher than I originally thought. Also, how do you lose a hammer that big? Lol. Looking forward to the tournament and seeing the new Holy Knight girl's powers. I cracked up at the, "Its granting me the power to explode," lol. Episode 10 Meliodas hurt Elizabeth's feeling with his comment and didn't even realize. Poor, tiny, naked, Elizabeth :P. The battles were entertaining even though they were short. Lol at Old Fart, I mean, King being so weak without his weapon or powers. Interested to see Meliodas vs Ban next episode. Episode 11 Meliodas is a beast!! I'm interested to learn his background and where he gets his power from. Lol @ Hawk's incredible, but useless tiny dress making skill. Really nice fights this episode. Episode 12 Those flying rays reminded me of the similar danger beast from Akame ga Kill. Man, they really fucked that stage up, lol. Veronica's death was indeed surprising and I felt bad for Elizabeth. Helbram's reveal was just as surprising :P. Meliodas emerging in beast mode form. It seems everyone's powers come from the demon clan/demon blood. Things are really starting to get interesting. |

Ep 18 [spoiler] Helbram is a great villian I bet most people were not expecting that transformation, definitely didn't expect it when I read the manga. Although I don't like King much, he is definitely one of the most powerful of the 7 and he really cares about Diane. |

Episode 13 Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the new OP. Of course, it is hard to replace that excellent first OP. Maybe it will grow on me after a bit. Pretty intense stuff this episode. Meliodas in his "demon form" is pretty damn powerful. Even without his sacred treasure. Diane with Gideon was pretty intense and powerful as well. Episode 14 Gowther is pretty awesome! I'm interested to see what the deal is with him and the armor though. I actually suspected that they could both be Gowther collectively at first, but dismissed the idea part way through the episode. I guess we will find out next episode exactly what the deal is. Episode 15 Ah, a monster, eh? I was a bit surprised by the situation with Gowther and his armor. Good stuff. Also, Gowther is confusing me a bit with his personality and actions. Didn't he fight alongside the rest of the Sins before? He seems to act like he knows very little about certain things that he should have experienced before. Hopefully, his past/origin gets explained here at some point. Anyway, solid episode. I feel a bit sorry for Guila and Dale. Episode 16 Diane's toss was indeed awesome! It seems the Holy Knights are split on the resurrecting of the Demon Clan plan. I'm still not sure I understand his motives for wanting to resurrect them. I'm guessing just to fight strong opponents? Surely it is something more than that. Also, Arthur should put on a nice show. I wonder if that is one of the remaining two Sins? Or perhaps he is a Holy Knight accompanied by one of the two remaining sins? Episode 17 Diane being awesome this episode! Also, Hauser and Guila coming to her aid. I hope nothing bad happens to Diane. Meliodas, Ban, and King need to get their asses in gear and help them out! Episode 18 Did not expect Helbram to be a fairy also. Nice twist. With Gowther and Diane near death, things aren't looking so well for the Sins. It seems next episode we are going to learn what happened 700 years ago with King and his abandonment. The last few episodes have gotten really intense. I'm a bit sad that I am now caught up with the series. I want to watch more :P. |

Episode 18: VERY ENJOYABLE. This made me like King a lot more (not that I didn't like him before - just this really ramped up my enjoyment). This show does really well as a battlemanga/anime, basically. Looking forward to seeing wtf Helbram is up to/was up to. Like you guys I definitely didn't expect him to turn out to be a fairy. |

Ep 19 [spoiler] Pretty much just the backstroy of King and Diane and the conclusion of the Helbram and King fight. Like I said before King is pretty OP and I don't care for him all that much. Apparently other manga readers don't agree though as he won first place for a character popularity contest. Incase anyone was wondering what the top 5 were. 2. Ban 3. Gowther 4. Hendrickson and 5. Meliodas |
