| Uh...there has been a lot of discussion about this and the conclusion is that KyoAni isn't the one to blame in this case, it's Kadokawa. Kadokawa had the brilliant idea of making this last for 6 or more episodes; KyoAni is just making what they were told, and in the best way they can. In fact, I'm grateful to them, because I can at least "see" something different each week. I can imagine it must be really frustrating for them to redo completely this episode again and again...(because KyoAni isn't reusing footage) |

I agree, If you were to watch episodes 3 or 4 you wouldn't miss anything important. The only difference Episode 5 has from the others is that this one has something to do with clouds and a paper(?) airplane. Which makes me think what the conclusion of all this would be, They better make a good finish because I've waited to long just to see Kyon hug or maybe kiss Haruhi, I want them to get it on XD. |

| Somehow Kadokawa has managed to take the Troll King's crown away from mass troll producer Studio Pierrot (known for their epic Naruto filler and the "cake" filler ep from Bleach). Kadokawa has managed to destroy my image of this anime that I've been waiting three years on with epic troll-age. It takes a lot of balls to pitch the idea that this very popular series should have the EXACT same plot, story, places as the last 5 episodes in a 14 episode series. |

| Am I the only one who finds this amusing? At least reading these angry comments is making up for the lack of fun in the episodes XD It's part of the Haruhi charm that they do incredibly stupid things like this. I mean; they started the first season with a horribly made film that was only somewhat worth watching because of Kyon's sarcastic comments. What kind of way is that to start a season? And on top of that they scrambled up the order of the episodes. Then they waited three years with the second season just to make it fit with all the "three years ago" talk in the anime. Why are people so surprised that they couldn't resist trolling an arch named ENDLESS eight? I'll keep watching this for the sake of seeing how far they'll pull this joke. And I'm sure they'll make up for it in one way or another. The writer might be crazy, but he's not a complete idiot ;D Edit: And yes, I am a retarded fan that is too faithful to Haruhi for my own good OTL |

| endless eight is referring to the 2 weeks they have been repeating, from 18th August to 31st August. August is the 8th month of the year and since they are living only in August for about 600years, its the endless 8 (summer) |

I guess they could try to pull off a "We never really canceled Season 2 at all! Here it is!" sort of thing and start airing the new season under the new name of "Disappearance". I certainly hope so. xD |

| I find it funny whenever someones who says they "like" Haruhi say they are dropping the second season because of Endless Eight when they could just, you know, wait for Endless Eight to finish and pick it back up then.
