If the girl on the cover really is the MC, then wow, he must be really good at disguises. Also, since there's no comedy tag, I'm having a hard time imagining him getting sidetracked into playing baseball with the girls and his interaction with the girls, without it being comedic in nature lol. Maybe its because most animes I've watched that have such scenes/events are comedies. Well, at least the girls love their emperor, and since it only has one volume, I doubt there was any time to even have any romance between the MC and any of the girls (even though that would be NTR lol). The thing I'm most curious about though, is the baseball. Must be a pretty big harem for one, and how the MC actually plays into the baseball parts of the story. |

| It still surprises me that the Index, at 1st place years in row until it's last volume, continuing in the top Novels after ending and still they didn't adapted the fucking whole thing, stopped at a cliffhanger!!! The cow is still full of milk when will they do it!? |

| what are you talking about? Index is still running with its second series. That's the second series you're seeing in the ranking, not the first. And that second series will take year to finish, as well. YEah, some people in the reviews were expecting a comedy judging by the component of the story, and were surprised that it's not. This author wrote well done comedy as well before, like Kuzu ga mirumiru sorenari ni naru for example, so it's not like the author didn't know how to do that properly. Still, he choose instead something serious, like he did with vampire summer time, and well, seems like it works. The baseball part, which is the main focus, has been praised quite a bit by everyone. Seems like it really transcribes well this sport. |
