what a lotta people complaining about it , well i was one of them, but i must say that was not a bad announce at all , though everyone was expecting Index III , we got another adaption from kamachis'novels, it's better than another bag , drink or figure.

honestly i was not surprised by this its rare for a anime adaptation to actually finish at the same point of the source material. i can only think of two right now fullmetal alechemest brotherhood and mirai nikki(and we have the ova to thank for that). eh i guess shakugan no shana sort of counts
at lest the apologized for hyping use up for the wrong reasons guess we have to wait 1-2 more years before season 3 still its kind off false advertising to use the index panel to announce a completely different series but ill give this series a go i enjoyed the index series

whats with all the mecha series this year? oh right i heard pacific rim was big in japan nvm

Go on.I wonder how long you can keep trying to trash a series you dont know about.

He's been doing it for years. He'll then go away and watch the series with the sole intention of finding reasons to hate it. And then he inevitably does hate it because if you go into something with that attitude you wil always find something to complain about, even if it's something that's actually entirely superficial and insignificant. Which he will then use as alleged proof that he was right all along and that everyone else was stupid to even consider that he wouldn't be.

And then a couple of people who are seemingly incapable of independent thought and who devote their entire lives to automatically agreeing with everything he says will agree with him, and he will interpret that as proof that everyone has accepted that what he said was right. And then wonder why people criticise his largely baseless predictions whenever one of these threads come out.

I really pity this guy. It's great that he's into the anime/manga/ln culture but if you honestly spend your time criticizing something at first glance without even checking it out just because it won't turn out to be some kind of masterpiece that speaks levels about humanity or with 2deep4u themes that are of literary merit, then please move your arrogance somewhere else. Anime above all else is an art form. There are different ways to approach it. It can be used as a means of entertainment that panders to the tastes of certain demographics with the intent to profit off of it. It can be used as an outlet for creativity. It can be used to send messages with important morals/themes. There are literally a ton of different ways to view anime. That's what's so beautiful about it. But shit, after visiting your profile and seeing all this elitist crap on there I can't help but feel you're wasting your time. You might as well stop what you're doing here and go read some literature if you want to "feel" enlightened. Otherwise you're going to have to accept the fact that all anime are different and just because one doesn't seem that well written or have those literary themes of merit doesn't mean it's not enjoyable which is imo what anime is all about. Having a fucking good time, and no that doesn't involve criticizing something to the point where it becomes enjoyable. That's just wrong. Now let me leave you with some good advice from a certain "MAN" I admire.

Nidhoeggr is fine, he's an elitist but he's usually generous with what he says and he at least isn't a rampant shitposter like certain people that I won't name (though you probably know who I'm talking about)
Most of the time Nid's 'trolling' is just him critically analyzing a show and its flaws and the fanboys of said show getting butthurt and feeling insulted, which you can clearly see happening in this thread.

He is a bullshiting shitposter with a big ego.
That he is right once in a while doesnt make him capable of analyzing critically.

People really treat ignoring parts of a story and using buzzwords as proper criticism lately.
