So after all the talk about aliens and whatnot, it's now confirmed that it's "just" a timeloop story after all, which was my very first idea anyway after the first arc in the first season. Is that invisible girl Oyashiro-sama by any chance? So Rika is the central character of the anime, being stuck repeating the same story over and over again. It seems like she did not try to change a lot in 100 years though, she never even tried to change the game or convince Keiichi to give the doll to Mion in all that time? lol
Hanyu got an introduction part, as revealed to be a ghost being that always on Rika's side and talked to her no matter what, for the everything happened. The whole reset time with that eccentric background seemed pretty nicely solid to portrait how fucked up Rika's situations was. She even concluded some rule that happened on her world, including the three routes that caused the death of her, and the great disaster of Hinamizawa. Just for the sake of her goal to get out of the tragedy labyrinth, that made her and her friends reach the happy ending.
But, could she do that? The timeline always got shortened. These arc, time limited for her works at the two weeks mark end. Everything would so difficult to be solved. But, the different points always happened at a certain route. These arc, Satoko revealed to had some illness at her body. Thats why she needed that syringe scene caring part at the first arc of these season, and Irie sensei trying hard to find the cure for her.
Then, the next day, the whole dejavu scene arrived. Its a mixed between Rena and Shion-Mion arc. However, as the result of Rika explanations (these damn different) to Keiichi, the whole different appeared. Keiichi successfully diverted the route of the fate, and once again, Rika had a motivation to changed her fate too and the rest of the world. Could she find out her dream on these arc? I doubt that! But its interesting to see any differences that happened within these arc!
Hide and seek is the best offline games on this fatamorgana-called-world-thing. Please comment nicely. I am newbie here.
Now it is confirmed that Rika relives June 1983 Hinamizawa for hundreds of years now damn. The time she has on each world is getting shorter, she needs to find that happy perfect world now. Though the current world right now seems very promising :DD. Is talking to her friends the solution to avoiding tragedy? Will Keiichi be the K e y, we will find out as we go on.
Damn there are levels to the curse or disease or something and Satoko is at level 3 now. That explains the injection, it's to suppress the effects of the curse.
And it's nice to meet Hanyu, she is very adorable. That Hinamizawa advertisement at the end though is not very convincing lmao.
Looks like there is in fact supernatural work at play here, I was hoping for a realistic explanation to everything but I guess the possibility of that is pretty much gone now. Still loved the episode though, I am really interested to see how Keiichi's decision to give the doll to Mion will influence this timeline.
Okay came across this on Reddit and have been thinking of this for a while now.
"Considering she's (Hanyuu) literally a ghost, you'd think Rika could trial and error finding the culprit by just having her follow around random people".
hanyuu is soooooo cuteeeeeeeeeeeee " i want to take her home" also what is satoko's sickness and hopefully rika will not be so depressed as keiichi is here to break the chain of ume (fate) thats binding her. hopefully the events of watanagashi hen dont repeat as the trigger of that arc has been taken care of.
For the first time over the one hundredth time loop, something different has happened. Well, besides that episode when Keiichi got his memory back from the past time loop.

So just like Okabe, Rika was always trying to find a different ending. Now that Keichi has changed the timeline a little, there is a possibility to have a good ending this time, coool.
I think I will finally be able to sleep peacefully hehe. Btw Hanyuu is so cute lol.
Ok, now I'm just getting REALLY annoyed with Rika...
She claims in the opening that she really wants to change this fate & wants to save everyone, yet last go-around she did everything in her power to NOT change fate or put up a fight at all!
She just goes about her day the same as always, time & time again, and hopes for different results. Well no wonder you've been trapped in this loop for over a century. You're idea of trying to help everyone is to withhold information, be as cryptic as possible, go through the paces like a zombie, and watch the same people get killed in every timeline.
Maybe try to take different actions yourself, or tell others what you've been experiencing & show proof that you know what's going to happen in certain events - you know, like every groundhog's day time loop in media ever. She finally shows Keiichi she can do this when predicting the game Shion will choose, but she did none of this last timeline.
