| The relationship between Yamato and Mei start to infuriate me. Both of them suck at managing themselves in. Yamato isn't loyal and hasn't learn to turn down other girls now that she has Mei as a girlfriend. She should be his priority. And Mei is so freaking passive. Like if it's trust that's lacking in your relationship then start building it together. Start talking things out and expressing your feelings to your boyfriend, don't just back off from situations. And drop the stupid tsundere attitude and face your man like a woman. At this point, I don't feel like these two are meant for each other. Megumi makes smooth moves on Yamato so it wouldn't be very surprising if she eventually steal him away and makes him hers. |
| It was around this point where I had to look up who the composer was because the music was striking such a familiar chord with me and lo and behold it's Yuuji Nomi. I was already enjoying this series enough, but finding out that the composer responsible for the soundtrack of "Whisper of the Heart" also composed for this series makes things even better. My suspicions were right. EDIT: I'm half-surprised that none of the directors wasn't involved with "After the Rain," because I also got that vibe at times with how this series is beautifully captured in certain moments. |
