Sometimes it's hard to watch anime with children, especially when you know a panty shot could flash onto the screen out of nowhere. So... post some anime you have deemed safe for kids or that kids you know have enjoyed! If you can, post around what age range the anime best fits.

It's safe to say that animes like Digimon & Tokyo Mew Mew can be viewed by kids,I mean there's a little plot twist here and there, but nothing too dark to scare the children - just the ordinary 'fight the bad guy' plot and monster of the day episodes.I think these two animes can be watched by kids at age 9-15 at most, because after that I think it can become childish for them.

"Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo" it's a nice anime that the entire family can enjoy. Might want to check "Momo e no Tegami" too.

Those are all good choices. Momo e no Tegami is PCM's featured film right now if anyone wanted some quick info on it. I really enjoyed it myself.

Ghibli films are of course great for watching with kids. And, I watched Best Student Council with my stepson when he wanted something to watch together after he finished Yu-gi-oh. It was funny and "clean".

Kaleido Star is also definitely a good one. I watched it when I was in grade school.

This is a really good movie imo. It's very pixar-like.

Oh yeah and the classic, Cardcaptor Sakura! I also watched that when I was in grade school ^^

I really enjoyed Gakuen Alice! Petite Princess Yucie is a good one that reminded me of it. I guess age range would be like 7+ or so.

as kid I enjoyed a lot Sailor Moon so going with this trope: Precure - it helps that its main audience are little girls. One concern is that it's basically cute little girls become friends and than blow up bad guys (after beating them a bit - not that they show blood or anything)... but last incarnation: Smile has less of beating, more of cute stuff, rainbows everywhere and whatnot.

For sure Kaleido Star, Aikatsu (I have no idea why but I enjoy it a lot), maybe K-On!

But than I enjoyed Dash Kappei as a kid (aka panty shots are serious business and give superpowers).

Well, the below series have appropriate content not only for kids, I believe

Princess Sara - 1980's (one of my all time favorite series)
Rurouni Kenshin - 1990's (no intro required, I think)
Serial Experiments Lain - 1990's psychological mystery series
Princess Tutu - 2000's romance & fantasy series
Emma Victorian Romance - 2000's romance anime
