| Hello o/ If anybody is able to help me out, that would be super ;u; I currently just finished a layout, but I had planned to make it a gif, but as a gif, there are specs everywhere!! This is non-gif version. This is gif version. Does anyone know how I can get rid of these if possible? |

| Thank you for the response o/ Is it due to the size? My previous gifs have not had this problem I think. I don't want to slice it personally, but I'll give it a shot. I'm not entirely sure about the dither since I'm not on Photoshop ATM, but I think it was 256 colors, the maximum I was able to make it with. |

Does anyone know how I can get rid of these if possible? - use a texture/pattern to draw the attention to sth else - use a gradient to change the colors - use the color balance and hue/saturation option to dim the colors that are especially pixelated - try to play around with these two options - cut your layout (explanation can be found here some of these options will just reduce the size of your gif, but it's possible that it's still pixelated. as i said, there are some gifs where it'll happen and there's nothing you can do about it, unfortunately. (at least i've looked a long time to get rid of weird pixels in gifs and i haven't found a special solution yet ;A;) but i don't understand why you use a gif format? there's nothing that moves in your profile picture or am i missing something? because saving it as png would be another option. and i don't know if my opinion is worth anything, but i don't think the speckles are really noticeable. sometimes you work on a pictrue for hours and you get so obsessed with the details that you don't see anything else, but i seriously wouldn't have noticed the speckles :) |

Since gifs don't support nearly as many colors as png, you tend to lose some image quality in the process. The best way to combat this would be to slice it up, as someone stated above. Again, I'm no expert with photoshop so I may be completely wrong with this. However, I quite like the "specs" myself. |
