| meh... since episode 6 its died off a little, i mean nice action sequence at the end well done to that, but the plot seems to be dwindling out somewhat and the episodes haven't been as engaging as the first half |

| Sigh... I was really hoping Moyo wouldn't be evil. And damn... the way she killed Kaede was really unexpected. I guess that exorcism death goes to show just how much she really does like horror movies. Looks like those two from Shark Knight saw her... but is there really anything they can do? Moyo just teleported there at the drop of a dime because she somehow knew Kaede (and I guess Diana too?) was about to reveal the big mystery and obliterated her. I don't see how anyone at all could stop her... hell more than that I don't know how she wouldn't realize that those two noticed her. Also, I'm surprised no one mentioned the fact that Cecil just basically destroyed a whole city. ^ @jiraiya_sensei Eh... actually that was pretty obvious to me. It's a mystery series. Practically everything that ever happens is going to be connected... and this arc has just been filled with coincidences as is. | Best episode so far! I thought it was a weird another Japanese benmashi was in Canada in the same place as Cecil, so her coming back wasn't that surprising. Definitely wondering what Moyo is up to, though. |

Sure you may take some wild guesses like Kaede was actually evil (duh) but I bet no one could've predicted that she was just being used and that she was one of No Face's member's daughter. To me this has been one of the strongest series this season. Better even than the ever predictable Noragami (yeah go on, lynch me). Exactly. This show definitely has story and plot. If anything more than most shows actually. So WTF are this people talking about? |

I am watching Wizard Barristers - Benmashi Cecil - 08 and I had noticed something wrong. In the first few minutes, I noticed that Cecil's father had a rifle pointed at Hottaru, unlike the United States, Canada has stricter gun control and, I believe that, Cecil's father would be unlikely to have a rifle unless he is part of the RMCP (Royal Mounted Canadian Police), which I doubt that he is part of.

| @LadyMal 100%, first thoughts watching this. Even if he was part of the RCMP, I don't think you'd be allowed to bring a rifle home with you off-duty. Even if he somehow got a gun, he shouldn't be threatening someone with it, that's already a crime. 86 (1) Every person commits an offence who, without lawful excuse, uses, carries, handles, ships, transports or stores a firearm, a prohibited weapon, a restricted weapon, a prohibited device or any ammunition or prohibited ammunition in a careless manner or without reasonable precautions for the safety of other persons. 87 (1) Every person commits an offence who, without lawful excuse, points a firearm at another person, whether the firearm is loaded or unloaded. For the second part, I don't know what would qualify as a lawful excuse, but for the first part, threatening someone with a gun certainly is carrying the gun without reasonable precaution for the safety of the individual threatened. I don't know about the US, but there's no way they'd have this scenario in Canada if they knew anything about it. Edit: Especially since the father is so opposed to his girl breaking the law and protect her own life by using magic. Second edit: Ok, this last one could actually be because of something of something unveiled in episode 12. |
