| i really want (evil) light to win. like really badly. if he loses the entire anime will turn to the most boring thing ever. the thing that's making me enjoy this anime is (evil) light. near, i don't give a shit about him. he isn't in the slightest way interesting. and he's just a character that was added to keep the anime going. |

| why didn't Light just take Near's deal of writing Mello's name, then dying 13 days later. couldn't Light just have made Near die 13 days later in his own notebook? I do not get this show anymore. |
| This was a better episode than the previous few that really did shit the bed for me in terms of interest levels, but still nowhere close to what made Death Note such a captivating or addicting watch in the process. I did rate how Light was a lot more desperate in this part and not thinking as straight as previously, relying on using the world and their belief for Kira to outdo Near at this very moment by painting the SPK as an evil organization needed to be taken down and broken into. He's got the current world on his fingertips with that kind of power move to temporarily take Near down but we all know how he's not completely down for the count given how the story's been written and looks to be heading towards. Especially since the reveal that the 13 day rule could be potentially fake, tensions in the Kira task force start to increase between everyone and Light, since his case for innocence from being Kira drastically decreases as his chances for truly being Kira in their eyes increases a ton, even if they don't want that to be the case on the inside. |

| Honestly whilst I don't like either Near or Mello, atleast Mello feels like an original character. Near just feels like a carbon copy of L, even down to phrases and the way he speaks. I hope |

i know it has been like 17 years since you commented this, but c'mon Light was making it too obvious by killing people who shouldn't have been killed by Kira because it was such highly secretive operation. And a Death Note that the Task Force holding having fake rule meant that someone there would've manipulated the information, the same reason why L deleted all the informations about the case because Light will manipulate the informations.

| It would be a bummer if Aizawa died instead of Matsuda. I hope he survives until the end. And it wouldn't be funny if Near died too....... although it seems like he'll be safe and be the one to solve the Kira case since there are only 7 episodes left. |

| I don't understand how Near arrived at the conclusion that Kira is Second L... The thrill of the earlier episodes is lacking.. even when the music plays, the writing falls short hehe :p ..it's also becoming tiring/silly how Kira can pick up his phone and directly reach anyone he wants like President of US and they'll right away believe the Kira. The writing has become kinda weak.. though, it's still... good... |
| Wow is our president spineless or what in this show, I don’t want to get political but he reminds me a bit of Biden lol, oh well, I guess what he said is true, it’s just a shame he ended up getting used to ruin Near and the SPK. However, I highly doubt this is the end of Near, this guy seems like he might be even more clever than L (he’s also a fan of toys it seems lol), he probably has a plan to get out of this situation too. But man what display by the people, isn’t it ironic that right after it was said that crime has gone down thanks to Kira, a mass riot like this happens right after lol, another example of Kira’s justice being wrong. I was also happy to see the investigation team members open their eyes a bit here, once they learned of the 13 days rule being potentially fake, all the sudden their suspicions of Light returned, they’re all real ones man, even Matsuda who is on the fence about Kira, it’s hard to blame him after seeing the results of Kira’s actions, but I’m still firm on my stance that Light/Kira is wrong. But sadly it’s most likely a RIP to Ide, Light overheard what he said and idk if he’s gonna let it slide, Aizawa might be in hot water as well, I hope not but we shall see. Oh, and also, it’s sad to see what’s happened to Light’s family, that scene of his mom alone was depressing, Light didn’t do it directly but he is the reason this happened to them. |
