| Initially I loved the idea of a Goku x Chichi filler because of how little there is between them in Z, but these last two episodes of the filler arc were super rough. At least we got to see them get married, but the rest of the cast wasn’t there ☹️ Anyways, I started my Dragonball journey in August of last year and finally finished it today. What an amazing series, after I finished Gintama a few years back I never thought I would be addicted to another long shonen like this. You can see the inspiration for many modern shonen all over this show and I’m extra bittersweet now that Toriyama is gone. It had some really high highs but low lows (mainly in the padding) which is why I think I’m not going to continue for Z, for now at least. I do really wish I could see the rest of Piccolo’s character development in it though. It is a rough tossup between a score of 8 or a 9. The second half of the series (starting from Tien saga) exponentially rose in quality, which made some of the awful filler and padding stick out even more. Either way, I grew super attached to this series and love it so much. |
| it got really good at the end. first 60 or so episodes were childish and boring af. the latter parts were good enough to make up for the earlier boring stuff. really enjoyed it at the end. i'm guessing goku was 17-18? at the end. so +5 years means at least 22 years old in dbz. looking forward to see more of him and how much stronger he becomes. 8/10 |

| I watched this final arc just for the romance and didn’t get much of it xD. But that aside, I thought this was a fine watch. Had I watched this a few years back, I’d probably be a lot more invested but, in its defence, I was watching this mostly while doing my research work, so I can’t say I gave it my full attention either. Looking forward to DBZ though, if it’s anything like what the ones who got me to start the franchise have said, I should be in for a ride and a half! Going to miss the Op & ED though, I heard it at least a 100 times after all lol. |

| One last time, Makafushigi Adventure. I will be missing you too. It's strange that the final episode of Dragon Ball is actually a filler episode lol. The Wedding Gown Saga comes to an end. And Goku has gotten married! One last time with the ED too. Goodbye once again, but this time in filler, Kid Goku and his adventures. The next story takes place a full five years from now. Here I come, Dragon Ball Z! |
