| I have been expecting it since that tweet about how a "certain volleyball manga just had gotten an anime adaptation greenlit" several months ago, but it is quite nice to see a confirmation! I remember how much I have liked Furudate's style since Yotsuya-senpai, and as Haikyuu managed to be a success (and one of my favorite on going manga), I can't help but be glad. |

| Isn't this a sports series aimed at guys? On mangafox it always said shounen.. And I'm starting to think that all this fujoshi hate is stemming from some sort of misplaced envious resentment of never experiencing intimate interaction with a fellow male. I mean, these characters aren't even that hot. They look like standard anime guys. But they're friends? They interact with each other? Their relationships are an important aspect of the story? Garbage! Fujoshi! Yaoi! 1/10! I hate it! Honestly, I'm starting to get that vibe. Anyway, I've been meaning to read this manga, is it any good? And is there any romance involved? |

While true, they are in the minority, also at cons and such you see very few fujoshi that are decent like you stated, you get the squealers and the ones that watch anime solely for the shipping opportunities. Most of the ones you mentioned are much more private about things than average. |
