Guess I should be more specific. It's illegal because the companies have money stolen from them when people like Baby_Naruto watch DVD rips of English dubs and never bother to buy the series. Therefore, that company loses profits. Anime companies in Japan do look at American sales because they get money from American sales. If a show performs poorly on one or both coasts, then that company will possibly lose profits off the title as well due to the persistence of selfish anime "fans" to not buy any product pertaining to that show and go for the illegal alternative instead. And Americans have no excuse since we have it the easiest out of the rest of the world in terms of pricing and availability. |

Plus, poor sales in Japan doesn't necessarily equate to poor sales in the US. If the show did come cheap enough Funimation could very well turn a profit on it. |

I liked the anime (mainly because I was the only one not jaded by the "grrr, manga changes !!!" schtick) and while I could easily go for the subs, there are a number of episodes no one subbed for some reason. It's stupid really, since it seems Anime One subbed up to 15 or so, and someone else subbed from 20 onwards, complete ignoring the non-translated episodes (kinda like the stupid Chihiro not doing the episode between the last Deculture release of Zettai Karen Children and their first release of ZKC). So, it seems like a sure buy for me. |

Nabari has some yaoi subtext; from what I've seen, it's one of those "enough to make the fangirls go wild, not enough to bother anyone else" series. |

| So... basically its safe to say half or even more of Funimation's 10 new licenses will likely be past GONZO/Geneon titles and possibly whatever else done by GONZO since Funi seems to have a big crush on them. Soul eater and That other Stupid anime with the Gundams um Evangelion 1.0 or something like that Are already coming FACT!!!. If I remember clearly, Soul Eater has yet to be licensed, only the C&D's have been distributed to fansubbers, hence why so many people are listing it as a likely title to be announced. |
