| It's pretty obvious that Gray is actually dead, not for good, but only during this timeline. Not only that the future is not set, but not even the past is stable. Everything can change, and it's fairly important to the manga that it doesn't lose a main character right now. After all, his "death" is not memorable at all. |

If Gray has died its only so he can be brought back to life (by Ultear supposedly) but still holy shit, dont just ambush my favorite character like that. | I'm not following the manga of Fairy Tail but when I accidentally saw a piece of scan of the latest chapter where Gray was shot by their current enemies, I hasted to read the latest chapter to see if it's true or not. Then, I confirmed that it's true. I became sad and speechless :'( anyway, I hope that he is not dead and will continue to live. Fairy Tail is not complete without Gray :'( |

| A death like this? Only 3/4 pages? No. Ultear seems to be done with life. Though she cannot undo living things, she might be able to restore the present. Everyone is thinking about how Ultear is going to revive Gray, but she doesn't even know he's dead! I think we will be seeing some Juvia rage scenes or something completely different. Juvia cannot be wounded by phisical attacks, but those beams? I think those would definitely wound her. But with her powers, she might be able to do something for Gray? I don't know, I'm just thinking, since she has her water body magic. My ship cannot die like this. |

| Time for Juvia to create a whirlpool of destruction! And there I was thinking Sting would be the 1st death. How I was proved wrong. It seems like there may be a few more deaths to come and it would make great writing; they can fix this with wibbly wobbly timey whimey stuff later. Hopefully Grey stays dead for now rather than a quick fix. |

| Ah god it's a cliffhanger, as no matter how many holes Gray got he isn't is going to die that easily as FT isn't that kind of manga. I hope Ultear doesn't have to sacrifice or get herself killed as she isn't as important as the main chars and is perhaps expendable. |

| My prediction for future chapters is other characters die as well, but Ultear, who know feels like she has sinned, will use her Time magic to "heal"/repair all those characters that died, but because at the cost of her own life. Therefore, in the end, all the characters that have died will have reincarnated, but Ultear will have died. |

| You know what? F**k it, I don't think he's dead at all. The more I think about it, I don't think it'll even be a case where he needs to be 'revived', because for some reason, some way or another, I think he's still going to be alive next week. It came out of nowhere with not much lead in, and seems completely out of place with the story so far. Just like Kagura didn't really kill Erza at the end of 314 when they had that blood splash, I think somehow Gray's gonna still be alive. Just a really cheap way to elicit a response from the readers, is what I'm expecting. I have not a shred of belief that he'll die for even a moment |
