Most disturbing/creepy/scary Anime?

I highly recommend you watch Higurashi (When they Cry) although a lot of people mentioned that one already. Other creepy/horror anime would be Another, Shiki and Corpse Party which I loved and I'm a huge fan of horror anime ^.^

There's nothing disturbing about Another !! But it's good.
+1 for Monster
But there isn't really much gore in both of them, and not thaat creepy.

Honestly I really enjoyed Parasyte. It has a good story and it gets gory and fucked up the further you get into it

It is not horror, it is more of dark humor.
I don't know, but I found Watamote very painful and disturbing and cringe-worthy.
You will love this anime, especially if you suffer from social anxiety, and you will feel the pain of the MC.

Selector infected WIXOSS!! Okay, I know its a card game anime, but seriously, it gets so dark by episode 3 or 4. It is soooo dark. A lot like madoka magica. It even made me feel angry and want to cry sometimes.

You gotta watch Corpse Party, it might just be the thing you're looking for
didnt really 'scare' me, but it was pretty gory
Also higurashi, madoka magica, maybe kiseijuu (very soft gore imo)

If you're looking for just 'disturbing' i'd say yosuga no sora lol.
