But from the more popular works, i think Battle Royale 2 takes the cake, but personally, i can't take Baki's art, it's honestly, horrendous. I read about 50 or so chapters before I had to drop it because of work related issues. I might pick it up again someday if I feel like it. |

Cartoonish drawings have not really made me want to stop reading something (I have not read adolf but I really liked Buddha from the same author). For me the problem is with the body proportions of characters. For example in basara their faces are too long and their bodies are too big. Also there are panels where the characters eyes and mouths are a bit offset from where they are supposed to be. I find this disturbing for some reason. Buddha on the other hand is drawn like a cartoon but the body proportions of the characters are decent. Also the background art was good which made it easy for me to read. Of course it doesn't really matter if the story is interesting and basara was an interesting manga. The only reason I dropped it is because work got in the way and I gradually lost interest since I had not read the manga for a long time. |

| The Hunter x Hunter slander is outrageous. You're truly not looking at bad manga if that's your nomination. Junjou Romantica was pretty BAD. Like not just the proportions but lots of.......other things. Granted the series did improve as years went on. Gakuen Alice was also very lack luster and hardly improved at all for the 10 year run. Just nothing about it was standout at all. |

| I haven't read that many manga, but for me the worst was Eden no Ori or Cage of Eden and Negima. The first started pretty awesome and it ended with the worst way that made no sense at all. As for the second, I couldn't even finish it. Also as a Bleach fan I have to say that the end was rushed and bad. Okay, even I got that it lost it's glamor after the Fullbring arc and yes the 1000 Year War arc should be shorter (too many characters without reason), but don't say that it has bad art. Kubo's art evolved dramatically over the years. Just look at how many shoujo have deformed faces. Also SnK is not the most artistic manga too, but it has it's great story to make up for it. Even though in the last chapter the faces were properly drown and showed many emotions. |
