| Without a doubt 'Grave of the Fireflies' and 'Now and Then, Here and There' for top depressing spot. Air, Saikano, Rurouni Kenshin, Clannad and Chrono Crusade are also some of the saddest series I've ever watched. |

| Elfen Lied is the freaking most depressing thing I have ever watched. I never watched Clannad AS because I heard that was incredibly sad and I'm not for anime putting me in a sad depressing mood and after stumbling into this topic and seeing the Clanna AS story spoilers I'm kind of glad I didn't. But Elfen lied was the worse, child molesting, puppy killing, brutal killings of children and their parents, there was just nothing in that anime that anime that coul bring me back up. I hate when after watching something I feel like crap. |

| I would consider an anime like Elfen Lied, Chrono Crusade, Full Metal Alchemist, sad and/or depressing to an extent, however Wolf's Rain left me soaking in my own tears (that's an understatement), as well as Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. |

But for me, it was definitely Clannad AS, Elfen Lied (My avatar is what it is for a reason you know..), and even Angel Beats... to an extent. |
