| Was good to get more info about Dot's past and to see her mother, especially how they could battle at the end |

| I've really liked the format lately of rotating between each main character and giving them something new, whether it be backstory, Pokemon, etc. This time we finally got to learn about Dot's decision to join the Rising Volt Tacklers which was nice in the sense that it gave us more insight into who she really is behind both her facades which has been a focus for a long time now. The battle against her mum at the end was also entertaining and it was good to see Quaxly learn another new move, bringing Dot back on par with the other two leads. I do hope we get to see all the starters evolve fairly soon though because while it has been cool seeing them continuously get stronger it does feel like they are getting to the point now where they really should be evolving to advance more. Looking forward to an exciting beach episode next week. |

| Dot is the kind of character that would have been my favorite if I was 12 years younger. Not that I have anything against her now, I still like her I just think I've aged out of being able to fully connect with her lol. Happy for all the preteens who will find her relatable. I have to say that I like how Blanca isn't possessive and instead just wanted her to still be apart of the crew so she can grow. It's a nice change of pace from the usual cliche, as much as it is based in reality. |
| Hell yeah, some Dot character development! Was cute seeing how she came to be on the ship and got to stay. |
