Which series do you think has the better story overall...

...Hunter x Hunter or Berserk?

Personally, I think Hunter x Hunter's story is better overall than Berserk's. Maybe not in the beginning, where Berserk decimates Hunter x Hunter with its Golden Age arc, but every arc after that one seems to take an increasingly larger dive in quality. The story becomes more and more inconsistent, the pacing gets slower and slower, and there's just tons of chapters of pure nothing happening where it doesn't feel like the plot is moving at all.

On the other hand, Hunter x Hunter has remained consistent up until this point. Each arc offers something new and expands the plot in some significant way. The story has maintained the same level of quality since it first started, which is rare for a long-running series like this. Now granted, Berserk is drawn way better than Hunter x Hunter, but I'm talking purely about the story and not the quality of the art-style.

So, what do you all think? Which series do you think has the better story?

Haven't read either but Berserk sounds like the more interesting manga.

But i still love Hunter x Hunter but Berserk is undoubtedly better
