| Just to repeat what everyone else already said, "Filler, boohoo, this episode sucked." Anyway, seeing as Izumo's like my favorite character, I sure didn't mind having a lot of her in the episode, though the actual episode itself was like... really bad. I did suddenly get this urge for fried squid though. Guess I've decided on what to eat for dinner then. |

| "Your heart should be as clear as raw squid" was so lolwut and Yohei was cute. Everything else was meh. Maybe I should read the manga to understand the appeal of this series. I mean, Rin is beyond adorable, and the other characters are interesting as well. I'm just not loving the story so much. And boy, do I hate those monsters. |

| As terrible as a filler can possibly get in a shonen series. No script, ultra redundant, unimpressive characters and developments, dumb situations and bad direction. It's really a shame because AnE can be a very good show at times (about half of the series until now). |

| Eh, this episode was kind of weird. Are they trying to make Izumo a shota lover or something? O_O I didn't really see the point of this. The kid was cute though, but still O_O Don't really know how Rin put his sword away so quickly after he drew it but whatever lol I LOLED AT THE DOG'S EYEBROWS THOUGH, WTF LOL XD Oh well, at least next week's looks good ;O |
| My guess on the rationale behind this episode is the following: The Production Team got a contract to cover "X" chapters from the Manga in 25 episodes. They took a look at the material and figured that they only had enough to do 25 minus "Y" episodes, "Y" then having to be the number of filler episodes. And when they were brainstorming what to write for the fillers, some wag came up with an idea to do a shaggy dog episode regarding Izumo's eyebrows. So the rest of the story for this episode was worked out to suit that joke. That sort of thing can work fine in a 3 minute or 5 minute anime short, or maybe even in a 15 minute half-length anime, but here it just didn't cut it. But I'll cut the writers some slack - at least they allowed Izumo to be a little more human for bits of the episode. And face it, if a shouta can turn her on like that, all Izumo really needs is some attention from a biishi to melt her like butter... <LOL> |

| Oh man, it's so easy to recognise a filler. This time it was even worse than before. It was actually awful right off the start. I even had to skip nearly all the second part so I wouldn't waste my time. Bleh, I feel like putting this show on-hold now, but the preview indicates some real action this time. Eh.. Can't be helped. xD |
| I barely even noticed this ep was filler, since I actually liked it. The character interactions was quite something, and I loled a lot. Actually, when was the last filler? I cant really think of a previous episode being a filler O.o And btw (Im out of the loop) if this series is ongoing, how can they have scheduled 25 eps for it already? Or are they gonna make a season 2? |
