What are the chances of 2nd Season?

What do you guys think?

They will announce a new season within 1-2 year

Madhouse isn't gonna make S2.

I really loved the S1, but I also heard Madhouse is not that much interested in making sequels (don't know how much is this true), but Frieren was a success in my opinion So, shouldn't they make S2? There are enough manga ch. to make another 28 EP season.

Frieren is now Madhouse's flagship title. Season 2 is already in it's pre-production phase and will have movie level animation quality. El Dorado arc will break the internet and Okeanix will retire from myanimelist when the S2 score reaches 9.70

Manga sales of Frieren are a flop; anime boost didn't help it. There will be no Season 2.

I'd be hilarious if after that tweet from the author, Madhouse went in and finally made NGNL S2, maybe breaking that bad fame of the studio with sequels. But that could be a pretty good excuse to give Keiichirou and the team time to reunite all together for Frieren S2 (and let him cook with Bocchi, btw). A win-win scenario.
It'll happen, but it'll take a lot of time. The wait will be woth it, I trust.

I think they announced a sequel in the very last scene? Though that's not a guarantee, I think the chances are pretty high.
