The title is pretty self-explanatory. This is your space to write about the most overused tropes in each anime genre, whether you like them or hate them.
For example: in romance, its the beach episode and the fireworks, oh and also, the sick episode.
What are some other elements that are very often used in a specific genre?

The characters that get Isekai'd are usually "losers" in real life.

In romance/shoujo: The ex-girlfriend of the male protagonist shows up and causes drama for the main girl. Also the male protagonist kissing the girl without her permission and it's her first kiss and she's upset yadda yadda.

AoT does not have a 3 person team, they have a whole ass squad of badass characters.
And I also said cliche, which isn't present in AoT.

Yeah bro, I know what you meant, I just found funny how Mikasa is the opposite of what you described xD

And well, with each season it may have become less and less apparent but Eren, Mikasa and Armin are supposed to be the main characters (along with Reiner now)

S4 literally has Gabi and Falco as the central characters in the description.
Not even Eren, Mikasa, and Armin.

Explaining your own power to your opponents and talking too much when fighting.

Who gives speech when doing physical fighting anyway irl? That would give too many openings for their opponent.

Isekai and fantasy: the world is a carbon copy of every generic JRPG out there, with the generic races filling their generic roles; this includes the magic/skill systems being similar or identical to game systems, with levels, rankings, classes, XP, and trees you advance along.

for romance: main couple likes each other but they dont know it, they turn shy and then the "why has he been avoiding me? does he hate me:(" misunderstanding

that pisses me off so much bc it usually makes no fuckin sense and they drag it on forever

A misunderstanding because both sides of a relationship don't tell each other anything leading to a rift that only gets resolved when during a moment of desperation the girl ends up kissing the guy.

The female character in a shounen shouting help me when she could easily help herself if she actually tried.

Boy has nosebleed when see's part of a girl naked.

A perfectly fine non hinted at boy and girl friendship suddenly out of nowhere turns into a romantic interest. Usually because another girl turns up to show interest in the boy.

When the anime adds an unnecessary love triangle that leads to drama and misunderstandings.
And in shonen anime when the mc gets some bullshit op power out of nowhere.
And of course when the “power of friendship” saves the day.

When cellphones interrupt exactly at the right time to prevent two characters from kissing

The girl in a relationship physically/verbally abuses the guy constantly who never speaks out against it

When antagonists explain their entire evil plan to the protagonist and giving sufficient time to think up a counter plan and execute and then being shocked at the outcome

When two people are fighting with swords, they clash and stare at each other for a while instead doing something more useful in that time

Making Sadist/Masochist scene as a woman wearing a tight fitting black costume while whipping a naked guy on his knees

An accidental/Unintentional kiss makes a girl fall in love with another person that she previously couldn't care less about

A guy/girl pair trip and end up in a sexually suggestive position just when a third party happens to sees them

With a few deliberate exceptions, almost all the food ever eaten in anime is always "delicious"

A character regrets not apologizing to a person who is now dead for an unrelated past argument

Someone falls off a cliff/wall and someone else arrives just at the right time to catch them by one hand

Multiple enemies fire hundreds of bullets but not one of them hits the person running and they keep firing at a brick wall after that

The childhood friend who never confesses his/her love, loses to the new girl/guy

Rich or higher status kids always act spoiled and selfish earning the hate of their peers and love interest, till a suddenly convenient situation comes up where he/she is in trouble and needs help

Protagonist who is clearly outclassed in a fight suddenly defeats the enemy by getting really angry

Personally, a trope that I dislike is the "Girl who ends up turning everything she cooks into a biological weapon banned under the Geneva Convention". It's a lazy trope that over-exaggerates a flaw to make it look like the character, who's usually perfect in every other way, isn't perfect.
