Is Asmodeus Iruma's love intrest?

Okay, I can't be the only one who thinks that Asmodeus is gay and/or will be the love interest or one of the love interests of Iruma? As a gay person myself, I can see that so far he is coded as being gay. Like, his admiration of Iruma could be coded as having a crush, ETC.

What do you guys think, do you think he is gay? love interest to Iruma or another character?

I ship it like FedEx. Realistically, he's sadly not, can't have real gays in shounen.

It's plausible that he is gay, he never shows any interest in any person other than Iruma in general and Asmodeus (in biblical lore) represents Lust. Not to mention the author doesn't seem to shy away from representation, seeing as one of the demons in school is pretty openly bisexual (and it's treated as normal rather than fan-servicey).

But I doubt he is or will be an actual love interest, sadly.
The attraction seems pretty one-sided.

His entire character is literally just "I <3 Iruma" repeated x 100. And I guess he's strong and doesn't like fish?

For the amount of screentime he gets, I think he's honestly a pretty boring character.

Clearly Asmodeus just respect Iruma because he defeated by Iruma and who lose will be the followers of who won.

It’s a shounen dawg, he’s definitely not gay or at the very least not Iruma’s love interest
