hello, i want to ask if there will be prison school season2 and is there going to be OVA ep2 etc? can someone give me some info about this? ty anyway

The anime boosted up the manga sales to reaching the 11th position in Japan. The series is like the 3rd biggest ecchi series in Japan. It might be able to get another anime, but that much is uncertain. There is plenty of material left to adapt and the manga is ongoing.

I'm also filled with pure-hearted ulterior motives.

I would guess High School DxD and To LOVE-Ru.

To Love Ru (as a franchise) is the biggest. DxD is not the other one, since I'm talking about manga. I forgot the other one. I remember there being a list on Reddit, but I can't find it. Double checked a couple of other lists and in 2015 alone, Food Wars sold better than Prison School in terms of volumes.

Edit - And what I meant was ongoing manga instead of completed ones.

I believe there will be a season 2. There is enough material to cover, plus the OVA makes a lot of space for continuation of the story.

Yeah, but its not gonna happen soon. The director said that writing storyboards gave him a headache and that Prison School is weird/disgusting (not sure whether I read that right - lets presume "weird"). The director also has his work cut out for him on other anime for the next two years or so.

Oh yeah, did any of you see any When-Will.com rumours about a "Summer 2016 season 2"? That rumour was the most laughable thing on the planet and the idiots who bought it are even more laughable. The honest reality of ecchi anime is that publishers are really reluctant to adapt beyond manga and only do so with heavy censorship. The average wait time is 1-2 years for a less popular shonen anime and 2-3 years for the biggest ecchi anime.

I'm expecting the season to be announced Spring 2017, come out Summer 2017 and adapt until chapter 165. By the time the anime gets announced, I'm expecting the manga to have enough material for another season over. I never expected anything else and these hilarious rumours really tells me a lot about the impatience of Prison School fans. For some context, the first BD sold well and the others kinda did OK.

PS: I'm pretty sure the rumours were a combination of sites wanting to get on the hype and the fans who just want "moar Prison School". (To the point of leaking the manga and not respecting the serialisation date.)

They could be problematic but they have aired worse. Like Shimoneta (graffiti of male bits) and DxD (group male solo "performances").

It would deserves a second season. Finally not a tipical harem/ecchi trash, like to-love ru. The characters all interesting, and crazy, and the plot is good too, and the character arts are too.

Cant believe to love ru is at the top. But thats just another sign o the times :P. I am sure, but mostly hopeful this will get a 2nd season. Opening parts from the end scenes of the actual show, and then the boys are finally at PEACE!! BUT...could there be a second season?! BETTER BE ONE!! BANZAI BANZAI BANZAI!!! Truly a mans mans anime lol Kinda like closure, but NEIN! Not quite. Fingers crossed, and laced together with ROPE! ^~^

Just finished as well.
This was truly a masterpiece. I wish there was actualy less ecchi with vice president, those baloon tits were just crap to look at. It was just cheap ecchi and not done so well, even if it was meant to sort of parody itself.
This anime is way more comedy than ecchi, seeing how comedy quality greatly surpasses that of its cheap ecchi scenes 90% of the time.
But that other 10%, oh man... Hana...

Hana scenes on the other hand, were simply mind blowing. Last one was just holy shit, I'm in love type.

I will patiently wait for season 2.
