Looking for something funny like K-ON!

These were my only comedies on my private list: Kannagi, Toradora!, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Toradora!, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Lucky Star. The ones that do not have a strike through the name is shows I thought were laughable funny and the rest I didn't laugh, but still enjoyed. Strike+Bold means I didn't laugh and I didn't enjoy it.

During my viewing of K-ON! I laughed during every moment I felt I was suppose to laugh throughout all episodes. It was quite shocking. I think the level of cuteness threw me off guard mixed in with art direction which I loved and the great (believable) story and characters. I don't find humor in anime during ecchi moments.

I guess someone who doesn't find anime that funny, but found something that made them laugh would be the best person to recommend something. I'll research whatever everyone else likes too. The recommendation list for K-ON! has a lot of things I've seen or read part of the manga and didn't like it enough to try the anime, has cheap laugh moments (ecchi), or it is related to K-ON! by music.

Watch Gintama if you haven't. Not that I know from actually watching it, but I've heard from a good number of folk that the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei series is pretty funny.

edit: eh, my eyesight must be going bad.

Seto no Hanayome- funniest anime I've seen
Full Metal Panic Fumoffu (might want to want season 1 and maybe 2 first, though it is action comedy. Fumoffu is a comedy side story)

second Gintama. probably one of the funniest anime out there. the first few eps may bore you out. but once you get pass that its worth it(:
