Is there any harem where girls aren't bitches to main male lead's best friend who is also male?

Not that I'm searching for recommendations, but it seems to me that harem girls are pretty much always allergic to those guys who always happen to be comic relief characters, and also much more interesting than the main male lead.

Well, in Clannad (With the exception of Kyo and Tomoyo...) the harem was pretty friendly with Sunohara. Ryou, Nagisa and Kotomi seemed pretty friendly with him when he's around and Fuko treated him basically exactly the same as Tomoya.

In Amagami SS, I think Kaoru is actually friendlier with his friend then with him. I actually like them more as a pair then Kaoru with Junichi...

And... Hmm... That's about it.

Love Hina springs to mind. Then again, the male lead doesn't really have any male friends.

There are plenty, I don't know why you think this is unheard of.

Index? Mostly because the harem is not close to the male lead's friend though (Haven't watched 2nd season so I don't know if this stays true)
