| OK so I'm going to complain a lot :D(please don't flame me if you do like this version) I've played YGO Online ever since the 1st version...YGOO2 was interesting,it had a lot of fields etc...YGO 3 is not only 10 times slower but the 3D stuff really annoys me (like the character look shitty-not to mention that during the duel you can only see their head;; the 3D board makes it so that you can see almost nothing...) -now you can't move around anymore -you can't duel for cards and save DuelPoints(make a Practice Lobby if you really want no-DP duels) -you can barely see the cards and the Life Points -it has 30 times more effects(and very complicated ones) so the game is very slow -the game is darker -the still picture bores me(it's even worse than YGOO1) -if you use a field changer card it will only change the board and not the whole image -and the most important one: IT IS DAMN SLOW(in the time you duel once in YGOO3 you could do a match duel in YGOO2) my opinion is that they could've just added another door in YGOO2 and the rest of the features anyway I'm just playing occasionally so that my account doesn't get deleted :D(I did put a lot of money and effort into it) my only hope now is that either a lot of players decide not to play anymore and Konami goes back to the DP system and YGOO2(which is next to impossible) or that the next series after 5D's is brighter so that YGOO4 becomes a real upgrade to YGOO2 |

| i played the first one back in like 2005 when a trial version came in with an issue of shonen jump it was fun i admit, have been out of the loop since then tho |
| Honestly, I haven't cared much for the Yu-Gi-Oh series in a while, not since the first Tag game that was released. They felt just like more of the same thing over and over. Which is one of the reasons why I am not a fan of Pokemon much. |

| Still sitting with my Level 20 account on there yet but it's just too expensive for me to put the time into now to stay top tier like I used to be in YO2. The game doesnt reward skill anymore, it rewards those with bigger wallets to buy cards. Seriously having to buy event cards you strive real hard in events to earn is beyond a joke to me in all honesty. It is actually cheaper to build a top tier deck on the real cards than it is on the online game. I bought all I needed for a Blackwing deck after a couple of lucky pulls last year and I got it all for around £30 - £40 to completely sort the deck. You are talking at least twice that for the online one as the packs are ridiculously expensive and the greed of the other players in the lobby truly knows no bounds. I will probably never play seriously again unless they make the game a bit more affordable. |
