Welcome to the Ken Akamatsu love him but hate him forum page.

i'll start love hina one of his bigger works, he could have ended it in 5 volumes... or ended the story ever. but with out the last 3 volumes we wouldn't have the greatest "no glove no love" joke ever.

What else is he good yet bad at?

Your sig is rather large...

I make for a terrible critic, as I must say that I forgive him for anything :P Even making the school festival arc 10 volumes long.

Even thou I really like Love Hina, I find Negima to be much better...

Love Hina, totally.

I watched it when comedy romance was my favorite genre.
And yes, about that 10 volume festival arc. That made me put it on hold for a while.

Negima beats out Love Hina just barely. I still have yet to start reading A.I. Love You though.

I don't even have to read the others to know that Negima is the best.

I would like to point out that something being the best just becasue it is the only thing you have drawn reference or could draw reference does not make it the best but makes it the good/great by default.

Seeing as the other two didn't even gain the recognition Love Hina and Negima have, and that I've read Love Hina and am currently reading Negima, I think I can conclude Negima owns hands down.

Well, all things being equal, objective and subjective, I can safely say Negima is his best work without having read anything else. Yes, I despised the Love Hina anime and I am aware the manga counterpart is much, much better. It just doesn't have the same outstanding premise that Negima has. I'm not really much for romantic comedy mangas; anime versions are generally hit or miss.

Both Love Hina and Negima get 10/10 from me thou. But still Negima is better. More girls, more action, more moe, more everything :D

Love Hina is something I used to read in those odd Kodansha Bilingual editions. I liked the different characters and their interactions, and I found it funny. Of the works you listed its definately my favourite, and it also has nostalgia value as it was among some of the first manga I read.
Negima was fun for the first volume but it left me with no drive to read the second. The fact it came shrink wrapped annoyed me too, petty though that may seem. I did get the second and third volume at a much later date, but although it was good to read it just didn't leave me wanting to read more... so who knows, I may get back to it one day, but in the meanwhile there are other series I much prefer.
I thought A.I Love you was poor, cliche tosh. I regret spending the money on it.
I have no idea what the fourth thing is :P

though i've only read Love Hina and Negima...i think i'd still pick Negima, probably because it has more action, and there's also those 31 moe~ girls in the series...so yeah, Negima FTW!!!

haha!
Destroy. Destroy. Destroy. Slowly, completely, gently beyond comparison, cruelly to the point of numbness, I'll violate your life. That's right. The instant I rip off your limbs, tear open your rib and pull out your intestines, biting into your neck as you scream in agony, chewing through your eyes as I ignore your pleas for mercy and spreading your brains on the ground like butter!

Negima's my fave because I love all the characters.
But Love Hina was good as well, but it dragged on a bit.

Both anime adaptions were crap in my opinion, mainly Negima.
