| @Zarutaku Hence why I said “possible”. But personally, I do think it’ll be a sequel of some sorts. They know how loved Haruhi still is to this day. I remember in the KyoAni anime project livestream they did announcing the new Dragon Maid movie and CITY, the entire chat was begging for Haruhi S3. A remake isn’t needed, and if it’s a non-sequel project there would be a lot of disappointment. But hey, more Haruhi is enough for me. I edited the title so it’s different now. |

| @Nefregar they never owned it in the first place though, Kadokawa just hired them to for the first two seasons and the movie. |

| @Yuki_Niji Yeah, although my point was that KyoAni nowadays don't rely on being a contractor to make anime anymore, their newer titles are mostly funded by themselves. So unless Kadokawa allows them to be the major production committee member, I don't see why they would agree to be on the project. |

| @Nefregar Oh I see, I didn’t know. I’ll hope for the best though. Haruhi without KyoAni just doesn’t seem right. They have two projects already lined up though, so it could be a while if it is KyoAni. |
