| I've seen a few people say this anime had bad pacing - but this is among the best I've seen for some minor scenario. Also the character interactions are meaningful. Every episode seems to make me like Stark and Fern more - and technically Frieren too, even though she had little to no involvement here. I dunno, I think some people just likely want a montage of action scenes with no content between them. That's boring as fuck. Basically, the people who just play the newest COD game and make time for nothing else. Boring as shit. ...also, Stark seemed to have a much easier time with his training to be civilized, than Fern did, haha. I guess maybe that's to be expected when one was raised by a dude who was wasted most of that time - except the last few years of his life. Trust me, I know how that goes - just not the "last few years" part - at least I hope not... but I've learned what it is like to be wasted too often, and I would hate to see a child raised by myself then. Fern still fell into the role though. Anyway, this was another adorable episode and I loved it. This anime gives me quite a few different feelings, but unexpectedly for how somber it can be, it made me smile more than anything else. Fern and Stark dancing was great. Fern is totally falling for Stark too - and I can almost guarantee Stark will never realize it - because this is anime. I'd probably fall for Fern because she's kind of adorable in a similar way to Frieren, and if I were going the homo route, I would probably be into Stark. he's kind of cool - and oddly level headed for someone introduced as a coward. He has very few moments of panic and insecurity... considering the first intro. Also Frieren and the Butler dude unexpectedly cracked me up with the "please hurry up..." remark. Butler don't fuck around. |

| The music and the animation when Frieren woke up and took out that plant monster were amazing. The whole scene just looked and sounded incredible. |
