How good are your analytical skills, and are you able to learn from your own (or others') mistakes? Have there been situations in your life where past mistakes helped you overcome a challenge, or, conversely, where you simply repeated the same mistakes?

I have trouble with self-awareness and self-regulation. But sometimes I win by practicing both. Hopefully, my emotional intelligence becomes better or something.

Also, I do learn from my mistakes. But sometimes, the real problem is forgetting about an incident or mistake. There is no lesson to learn from if I forget about the mistake in the first place.

Also, I don't know if I tire easily or I'm lazy. Sometimes, I don't put in the extra effort, lol.

Do you honestly think I'm going to make the same mistake again?

Only in playing sports like basketball and football like Bank shot acceptance. That’s my experience and wisdom acknowledging that beauty isn’t always in the high arcing jump shots, it’s in the result... Use the glass doesn't have to be the perfect splash.

Nah, more often than not I just learned to make the same mistake twice, and then thrice.

Humans are seldom wise enough to learn from others' mistakes. This is how history repeats itself and on the individual level we fuck ourselves up. There'd be so much less suffering if only a warning or a cautionary tale were enough to set us straight.

We're more like small animals who only learn their lesson when it comes at the price of pain, particularly lasting pain.

I had a teacher who once told me, " you're going to fuck up a lot in life but what matters isn't the number of times you fall, it is whether you understand when and why." It is fine if you mess up once, twice, a third or a fourth time as long as each failure teaches you something new about yourself. But my stupid ass didn't listen to him and i ended up making the same mistake 3 times for the same reason and now i regret it

Yeah cause who doesn't. Main reason for why I am such a dependable person already. I learn best from my own mistakes but I do learn from others mistakes as well, just not as efficiently

Both, don't hurt your foot again by walking incorrectly, and you see other people mess their life up with something (you have a thought of that it could be) so you avoid following in their footsteps, as you get more critical you understand more in yourself and others.
