The aura Tamsy unleashed was amazing—his jinki is really interesting.

Rudo is definitely a true believer in gender equality. Amo got a beating and apparently learned her lesson.

This episode was full of fascinating things—and I’m not just talking about the very necessary focus on Amo’s body. I mean the pasts of some Cleaners; maybe Riyou’s memories weren’t shown, but they’ll surely be important. Also, Delmon’s special person had a communicator around their neck—probably a Cleaner, or maybe still alive and will show up as a Raider.

I don't know what the heck happened. I was so into this anime, hooked from episode 1 to episode 9. 10, 11 and now 12 have for some reason just been so uninteresting or boring that I am now considering dropping this anime completely.

TBH, was happy watching Amo get beat. SHE TOTALLY DESERVES IT!
And as for how they could've gotten information out of her, they could've taken her beloved boots while she was knocked out & made her speak. I mean, if she chooses to be an evil bully, then she better be ready for the consequences.

@Tarankumar I wouldn't really say filler, but stretched out for sure. A few more chapters have to be adapted and the real shit is going to start.

@Desmascarado lol not sure how it's about pedo, and I'm not even sure who you're calling "moralists" here, who it refers to, but the people *I* know who would like that aspect are basically guilty of the same thing they do to black people - the bigotry of low expectations. Women are physically inferior to men, even in agility, outside of exceptional cases. That's just how it is and has been. Call it evolution or "God" or whatever you like, heh.

There are other things about women that are great, and I love them, but it's just a biological fact. I don't even think it has anything to do with morality, because it doesn't really have anything to do with "feelings" - unless they're pussies, of course. They wear their hearts on their sleeves. That means the ones who do that all the time are basically stupid and primitive and impulsive.

Imo, there are worse things than being physically inferior to most men. In fact, I would HATE women who were physically superior to men - not because they could beat me up, but because they would be super unattractive to anyone with testosterone running through their veins.

To me, Amo being a cunt bitch whore is way worse than being a woman with less physical attributes (RPG style) than almost every man on the planet. Women who are worth protecting don't typically wail like babies... maybe that's just me. All that makes me want to do is tell them to shut up and shun them until they fix their mental problems - or grow up. (same thing usually)

I dunno what the pedo aspect you're talking about is, I'm sorta confused about that one. Literally none of them look like little kids, haha. Even Rudo, who has got to be the youngest one there.

What normal people find "sad" are adults (or near-adults, whatever she is) acting like toddlers. I can understand that part. Can't really say that makes it "pedo" though, because I know guys over 32 who act like they're 12..... actually I know women who do it too.
@Alpha-Methyl Anyway, the author of the work seems like a feminist, so probably in the next episode Rudo will apologize for beating up the girl and for being born a man. 😢

Damn... this was one heck of an episode. Tamsy's powers were so fucking cool. The way he handled all of them so easily. He almost killed all of them instantly. LOL. Good thing we had that mark on our back.

After they were out of Amo's spell. I was not expecting that from Rudo. Holy!! He gave her one hell of a beating. I almost felt bad for her in that moment. But, I guess I can understand Rudo's point as well. All of them were hurt in that moment with those memories they shared with their loved ones.

But, looks like they'll apologize later on to her, thanks to Enjin's sense talk to him. I love Amo a lot. I really want her to be part of the show. I hope she stays with us for a long time.

@Desmascarado maybe, but he kicked the shit out of her ass in this one, hahaha... and I enjoyed it. I even said aloud "holy shit" haha

Frankly, I wasn't a fan of her right off the bat, so I enjoyed the "equality" displayed here. All I have to say, is FAFO bitch. Maybe she'll even learn a lesson from it. OR maybe they'll have to kill her. I'm probably ok with either, and not sure which I would find more heartwarming. Whichever outcome will probably warm my heart though. I know too many IRL women who are basically like that, without the super powers. (thank God, or the entire planet would already be corpsed)

I can tell you, if they wanted to take out a life insurance policy for me, I might pull a Rudo right then and there. It's essentially a threat on my life, after all. An obvious one.

@Sui_Atom because they're simps and believe there's some sort of virtue in letting a female try to murder you and all your friends. I love an adorable female character, and Amo might be slightly cute, but she also looks like she's on some heavy drugs and she's a bitch whore C U Next Tuesday. Warranted beating. Sometimes you get what you're asking for, am I right?

Notice, if you will, she only even appeared to feel bad about anything or feel even a little bit of regret, until after she got her face beat in by Rudo. She had numerous chances to feel those things. Yeah, see, that's how you know she's not savable. Humans tend to regret a little sooner - not all, but real humans usually do.

No sympathy or remorse regardless of what happens to her, unless she REALLY redeems herself - and somehow I doubt that's gonna happen in this anime. It's going to have to be impressive to sway me, after the shit she pulled, haha.

Yeah sorry simpfans out there, but if a woman is trying to murder you and everyone around you, you stop her, even if you have to pummel the life out of her. Man or woman - when they're trying to murder you - hopefully you have the good sense to stop it from happening. Or you're basically just retarded... especially if she has supernatural powers. You take your opportunity or you die.

@kyledluffy not really bro, he's gotta un-calm things up. She just tried to murder all of them. Literally. With supernatural powers. If you let that kinda shit slide even without the powers, you're going to end up dead my friend.

Valid Rudo crashout. The smelly bitch was practically asking for a beating but of course the others are a bunch of softies. Not to mention they even ended up being the ones apologizing smh.

Underwhelming mini-arc. Characters like Riyou and Enjin were done dirty and Tamsy being so focused on aura-farming instead of knocking Amo out when she was tied up was eyeroll-ing to say the least.

The MVP of this episode is Tamsy (aka the rope guy), Tamsy is obviously a male character, but he is voiced by female voice actress Mitsuki Saiga, she is one of a few voice actress that I have no problem when she voice a fully grown male character.

Now let's dig a little bit deeper in gender. In Rudo's profile page opened by Semiu, you can see one of the line that read as "Gender: Maybe Male", we all know Rudo is obviously male, but I also love how this anime always open to the possibility of diversed gender.

Here's the rest of other lines of Rudo's profile
Name: Rudo
Age: Around 15
Height: 153 (my take: probably thanks to the maskmaker secret measurement when he sleep)
Birth: 7/20 (July 20)
Birthplace: Tenkai (which means sphere)
Favorite: Sweet
Interest: Gomiat.... (text cut-off)

By the way, Enjin acts like a friend to Rudo, not his senpai, not his teacher or advisor, he admit his faults and he invite Rudo to improve themselves together so that they can be a better person tomorrow, I'd like to say that Enjin just stole my heart with this act, but he already stole my heart since the first episode!

In this time when most summer anime end and most fall anime haven't begin broadcast yet, I'd like to thanks that Gachiakuta has two consecutive cours. Otherwise I'd be bored to death.
@phantomfandom Tamsy is voiced by a female VA??? WOW I did not notice that at all

Honestly, she deserved it because what she did was extremely messed up. Although, Rudo went a bit overboard.

That was pretty anticlimactic, especially after such a long build up. Last episode’s pacing was already bad, and the start of this one made it even clearer. If she was going to lose that easily, they should’ve cut down the runtime before. We did get a little bit of the big guy’s backstory, but most of it just felt like a waste. As for her character type, I don’t get why writers keep using it. They’re always annoying, and idk if anyone actually likes them.

Still, after five weeks of her messing with the main cast, it was satisfying to see her finally get hit. But did she really deserve to be beaten that badly? I’m really not quite sure here tbh. If he had just punched her once and demanded answers, it would’ve been rough but understandable. Instead, he went straight for killing her without even trying to get information. That was definitely the wrong move. Oh well though, only time will tell.
@IzanaSolos you have the same reaction as real life when a woman do something bad to a man he cannot react even when its really bad it doesn't make any sense maybe now thanks to him she will understand that she cannot harm people for no reason and expect no reaction

Tamsy's vital instrument was really cool, definitely as strong as he made it out to be on the cliffhanger from last episode. He was sick of all this nonsense and ended it. Super clever of him to take advantage of the seal they all received to protect themselves from one mortal wound.

The thing everyone is going to be talking about is the confrontation between Rudo and Amo. A lot of twitter freaks trying to criticize anyone who doesn't disapprove of Amo getting punched. I've ruminated on it for the past hour or so before giving my response. After Tamsy's attack that sent everyone 10 floors down, Zanka explained just how disgusting and cruel her power was. To manipulate someone using their most cherished memories is an exceptionally nasty thing. The aftermath of those who were controlled was a tough sight, they looked visibly shaken, disturbed, angered, and disgusted at what happened. As if their hearts had been ripped out. Delmon was clearly furious and Riyou looked like hell. Up to this point, the team had all been beaten from each others' attacks, but Amo had not been attacked once. I'm in the camp that she deserved to be punched in the face. Her intent was to have the team kill each other. When someone tries to kill you, no matter who it is, all bets are off in my opinion. I don't think Rudo should've wailed on her like he did, but a punch was justified. And how the episode framed it, from Zanka's observations all the way up to Amo still running her mouth and showing no remorse for her actions, it felt as though the episode was trying to show that she had it coming.

I get that Rudo went too far and he needs to control his anger, and him apologizing for going too far is a step in the right direction. But I still stand by that Amo deserved to be punched for what she did to the team. By the end of it, it felt as though Amo woke up, or realized what she did was wrong. Which is why she finally started talking about getting from the ground to the sphere. It's similar to the "slap to wake someone up/come to their senses" cliché. I think Amo is better off for waking up from her destructive behavior, and this was a learning experience for Rudo about his anger.

P.S. I'm jealous of Enjin getting a whiff of those boots. Amo is smoking hot and now she's confirmed stinky. She is now front runner for best girl.
@takkun_ thank you i am rocking with him too

Ah so Rudo is an advocator of true gender equality, nice to see lol, as cute and hot (and smelly) as Amo is, she deserved that pummeling, yeah it’s easy to say don’t hit her now but not when she had everyone under her spell earlier, I’m glad it seems to have knocked some sense into her too, she dropped some pretty juicy info right at the end so that’s something to look forward to. Tamsy (i remember his name now lol) was pretty epic here too, that rope weapon is pretty overpowered but I’m not sure how strong it is against trash beasts, I think it might be incredibly effective against other people, especially since Tamsy knows a thing or two about tying people up like we saw with that tasteful position Amo was in lol.

And wow Enjin was the goat here, he got to smell Amo’s boot and imparted some wisdom onto Rudo near the end, just when our boy thought he hadn’t grown at all and actually reverted to how he used to be on the Sphere, Enjin let him know he has grown after all by recognizing his faults, and he’s very right about that, now that Rudo knows what his issues are, he can start working to correct them. And with that I think this marks the end of cour 1, I’ve really enjoyed the show so far, I’m excited to see what the next cour holds over the fall, I’m guessing we might be getting a new OP and ED too, if so I’m really gonna miss this original pair, especially the OP, it’s such a cool song, I recommend everyone check out the full version because it only gets better after the first 1:30.

What a satisfaction to see Rudo give her a few punches. She really pissed me off since her introduction. And after playing with other people's feelings while laughing, it would have pissed me off even more if she got away with it for free without any punishment.
