Do you get attached to things?

A shoes you've been wearing a lot, a laptop you've been using for a long time, a present from a loved one, etc.

As for me, I tend to get a little sad whenever I part ways with things that served me well and I also hoard a lot of things which hold sentimental value for me even though they aren't being used for anything.

I used to be very sentimental. But then I had a few things that were extremely important be either lost or stolen so I had to harden myself to material things or I’d be sad all the time lol.

Yes, to an unhealthy degree. I sometimes have to force myself to throw out things.

There are some items that are really important to me but in general i can get rid of stuff i don't need, so neither yes nor no.

Yes. I remember having an iPod that I kept until it fell apart, literally. And I've had my laptop since 2013.

As a kid, I was even an animist.

Not at all. All the important things are non-material in the end. Like skills, knowledge, memories. People are important too, and they're not "things". :)

I have been wearing my analog wrist watch since I was in 7th grade. I clean it religiously and take good care of it. If I was in Gachiakuta and I got Giver powers, this watch will help me through 🙏

I think most people get attached to an item but not to the level of anyone in this anime. I almost feel like you have to have a mental disability to treat one item that special.
