| If you don't count the rumors about her devouring monsters, Melphiera just seems like any ordinary girl. Getting involved with a duke is quite a development already though. Melphiera also seems like a kind and mature lady. Aristide is mysterious though. There's some goofy moments thrown in for their chemistry so I think that'll be a recurring gag. Not a bad first episode imo. |

| Mangaka Kanata Hoshi's lone series, by being a food connoisseur at monster food, this is truly something unique. AVAM's debut OP here, and it just kind of sounds average at best. The unmarried noble lady of Melphiera Marchalrayd attending a matcmaking event with her attendant Mrs. Talbot, she really doesn't fit within the high society of nobles that despite her parents forcing her to get married. However, Melphiera finding herself within the unique scenario with a backhorn monster attack that's subjugated by the Blood-Mad Duke of Aristide Rogier du Galbraith, it seems as if she's finally found a partner to talk to amidst the monster blood splattered on her clothes and on his face...as the rumors mention her out to be: the young lady who eats monsters - the Voracious Villainess. Since Galbraith already slained the backhorn monster, it's Melphiera who truly is indulged in his delights and wanting to know how it tastes like, apart from the other nobles who ridicule her for her weird tastes, making him the first person genuinely interested in her monster consumption antics. Galbraith bringing Melphiera back to his pavilion to be attended to his right-hand manservant of Chaos Laforg for a change of clothes, and some close skinship and feelings between the two (before the butler would stop them both) for some heated romance, both are truly hitting it off well from the get-go, though Galbraith can't exactly send her home from there, and is offered beef jerky a.k.a Skatzbitt from her before her leave. Shunichi Toki's ED is OK in spots. A romance set from the basis of monster food? It's a glutton's delight, especially for someone like Melphiera! Good start. |

| A monster eating lady and a monster killing duke, a perfect couple! it is wholesome and sweet watching both fall in love with each other over their love for monster mutilation.  |
| Melphiera seems a lovely lady who is doing nothing wrong. The Duke also seems to be a kind and caring person. |
| Me and the bad bitch I pulled by eating monster meat 🤣. Melphiera and the duke are such weirdos, they’re perfect for each other. He loves to hunt, she loves to cook him food. Match made in heaven. It’s quirky, silly, cute and endearing already. I’m gonna enjoy this one as a cozy relaxing watch this season. Anime will really try to make you believe the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen has somehow never had any suitors. Melphiera is so beautiful, imagine not thinking she’s attractive just because of what she likes to cook lol. Their loss is the duke’s gain. It’ll be interesting to see how they keep things fresh(pun intended) with Melphiera’s various recipes, but I like this so far! |

| Simple but likable premise, The duke and Melphiera are a great pair of characters. Very interested to see this playout, honestly the whole monster eating thing can kinda be applied to real life. People eat all sorts of exotic things which others may find weird when really they taste nice. Just comes down to the people and place really |

| What an opening by asking a stranger if you can have a bite of their food, it's so stupidly funny. I absolutely love this story, which had me smiling ear to ear the whole episode. The animation and character design are amazing, like HELLO CHAOS!!!!! Definitely cannot wait for the next! |

| I dont typically watch romance anime but when I do it's usually fire. Great start to a series lots of laughs and feel-good moments. I can see how this was an instant 7+ definitely going to keep up with this one. |

| This was a lot better than I expected. Eating monsters in a fantasy world isn't that uncommon. Lots of dishes in Final Fantasy series are made up of monsters. The Behemoth steak for example. |

| Just another sappy, hard blush, cookie cutter romance with forgettable mains, bonding over butchering, cooking and eating monster meat has never looked so dull. Dropped. |
