I know we are getting big red flags of season 3 being ruined, not getting trailer, not knowing whos the director, jc staff animating this and first preview. I am 100% sure this not going like season 1 level production, but i don't want this season 3 to be worst than season 2, so is there any slightly possibility that they doing these things intentionally some marketing tricks and season 3 will look good

never had issues with season 2 tbh, as the Red flags? i mean, not getting a trailer isnt much of a problem, im worried about the director, maybe they didnt tell bcs he May be a new entry? or someone really good and they trying to hype It but is doing the opposite outcome?

If it never happens I really don’t give a shit. Years between seasons is retarded to begin with, meaning watching the first two seasons all over again just so I know what the fuck is going on. Just sit back and assume it’s not coming and not concern yourself about such nonsense.

J.C. Staff do a good job with most of their shows and I enjoyed S2 more than S1. We won't know for sure whether this season is good or not until it comes out. I would give it a 50/50 chance of being good or bad right now.

It'll be good, trust me bro.
This has been in development for three years, so it'll be good. trust me bro.
The staff and directors we still don’t know about are working so hard on this anime. trust me bro.
They’ve poured their hearts and souls into every single frame. trust me bro.
The animation quality is going to blow us away, trust me bro.
This isn’t just another project, it’s a passion project. trust me bro.

So anyway,

TRUST ME BRO

@Freestyle-McL Yea thats the problem, people really complain about this stuff like its normal for every studio to have madhouse quality animation. I cant believe we still haven't put this topic behind.

@Muzan2020 What's crazy is people talking about "Madhouse quality" like it's exclusive to them or something they still consistently put out, and not OPM being one of the many cases of having a staff with a lot of connections throughout the industry, creating a snowball effect that made a ton of people involved in it, and now these people are spread out across their own invididual projects.

Really, season 1 isn't a "one in a million" project like most people claim it is. Theoretically, almost any given studio could replicate it provided it was led by a director with a wide networking range - but that repeating is unlikely with how poorly the committee has been treating the series so far.

it has not been in production for three years. That's just when it was announced.

Season 2 had a shitty animation that ruined the crazy potential of Murata's manga.

JC Staff is not doing any major change this time, right? So let's wait for another trash animated season

Only way to find out is to watch it at this point. The marketing doesn't guarantee it's going to suck like so many people say, but it sure as hell doesn't instill much confidence either. We're a month and a half away from the premiere and we still don't have any actual confirmed footage or know who the director is. The promotional material itself is also filled with bland character posters, all of which were copy and pasted onto the main poster.

Just look at another superhero themed anime coming out at the same time, My Hero Academia. While it's not entirely fair to compare them as their schedules and staff are totally different, and it being its final season will likely guarantee more talent than a show's third season. But just compare the two posters, and how it already has a promising teaser under its belt that is from the actual show itself. We just have to wait and see, we may all be wrong, but there are a lot of worrying red flags at the moment.
Are ya winning, diners?

Ignore the defenders, you can watch fans fixing S2, so I don’t know. It really all depends on first 3 episodes if the animation will be good or not.

Btw this season should make JJK S2 look bad if adapted correctly

Maybe. After 6 years, the animation might be improved. Plus One Punch season 2 came out before Railgun season 3

I would say there's a 99% chance this will be as bad as the second season, but I don't know, the fact that the production seems like chaos and they've revealed very little information gives me the feeling that they're doing it on purpose to generate discussions like this, so I probably think it will be less worse than season 2 but it will still be bad.

Guess it's more healthy to be set up for disappointment than overly hyped especially after a long wait. That being said it's also unhealthy to be overly pessimistic. Enjoy it for what it is and if it ends up being One Punch TBATE then you can at least not be surprised. And if it's half decent then that's great. Me personally I liked season 2 because I enjoyed getting to know the side characters more so it just depends on the expectations you have for the series. I'm sure regardless of how season 3 turns out I'll probably watch it weekly and enjoy it. All that being said I'm not a huge One Punch fan in the first place so I can't speak for people who are very passionate about the series just for myself.
