How many chapters will be there in total

After spy x family reaching 120th chapter I wonder how many chapters will take to end the series

my prediction is that it will be a long running series which is a good thing for me but it should end something like 300+ chapters not 500 chapter,500 chapters will be too much

@AmooWatches manga started in march 2019.6 years ago from now(july 2025)and it only reached 120th chapter.so it will take another 7 to 8 years to reach 300 chapter, unless it transfer to weekly release which would be ideal, but author's health is no good from what I heard he is having health issues so we kept that in mind and wait. by the way I am looking forward to anime in October 🤩

Who cares. We're still only at a bit of a quarter of the story.
Not even half way with most of their secrets kept in tact, and the main plot not having moved forward yet,
let alone the probable time skip if realistically Anya doesn't become a scholar in only a year at whatever child age she is.
Heck, after the war starts or whatever and everyone knows each other's secrets, Loid and Yor could train Anya to be the ultimate assassin spy.

At this rate, I could imagine over 500 chapters which would be fine.
It's a bit painfully long with how there's little progress, but it's not the worst dragging of "filler".
The story better start progressing more from now on off the two hints of this latest chapter though.

The Mangaka is pacing this incredibly slow.

i hope its around 200, but this pacing is horrifically slow so i wouldn't be surprised if it's over 300.

There was a plot point teaser several chapters ago, which to me suggests this could be the next to last arc depending on how things go

The manga will probably have around 200 chapters, because even with the slow-paced story, we'd only be hurt if some things didn't start to get resolved in the next arcs. It doesn't feel like the story is anywhere near its end, but at least we're halfway through.

(Yes, Tatsuya Endo, the creator of Spy x Family, is experiencing health problems, which has led to a hiatus for the manga. Specifically, the manga was delayed starting December 9th due to Endo's poor health, with the next chapter scheduled for December 23rd.) - google 🙏

Why is it, that so many mangaka are so sickly? I wish they'd all be healthy, but somehow it seems to be a occupational hazard.

The mangaka of Sono Bisque Doll, Frieren, Hunter x Hunter, Spy x Family, etc. all have health issues.

Drawing/Writing manga seems to be a grindstone for your health...
