Guimi Zhi Zhu: Xiaochou Pian Episode 3 Discussion

As Klein arrived in his house he was spied on by someone from an organisation called the 'Secret Order', because they too want to get a hold on the Antigonus notebook

In last episode we saw Zhou Klein remember where original Klein left the notebook before he died. Zhou Klein visits the house next to the warehouse where last episode's battle took place and finds a dead body. Klein remembers visiting the house, but the son of the dead old woman [Ray Bieber] has disappeared and the Antigonus notebook is nowhere to be found in the house. Unlike last time, Ray Bieber can't be found with Spirit Dowsing, Klein's Beyonder power as a Seer, because someone with stronger Beyonder powers than Klein doesn't want them to find Ray Bieber. That's why the Church of the Goddess (the church of Klein's Beyonder team) sends along 3 people and a Sealed Artifact, an item with Beyonder powers

With the item, the puppet clown, they find Ray Bieber who's already lost control. He has the Antigonus notebook too. Suddenly a Sequence 7 Beyonder ambushes the Nightwatch(our team). They get into a fight and just as Klein is about to capture the notebook, the Antigonus notebook and the puppet strengthen eachother, making the puppet control Dunn and Klein. But just as Klein is about to be controlled by the puppet, he manages to do the four steps needed to go above the grey fog, that place he got from the luck ritual that isekai'd him. Using that, he can now move again because the grey fog woke him up with the touch just like his teammates did before. But he fakes still being frozen while the Sequence 7 approaches him. The Sequence 7 wants Klein to join his side and tells Klein the Seer Sequence 8 (Clown), willing to give Klein the potion if he surrenders. But Klein catches him off guard and puts the Sequence 7 in the puppet range before shooting him in the head

After the battle Klein keeps the grey fog a secret, because he doesn't want people to know he is not the real Klein. He lies he wasn't really in the range of the puppet and pretended to be caught by it. Leonard however noticed Klein was in range and managed to not be controlled. He tells Klein, but says to Klein it's okay he won't tell anyone, he's special too after all

The next day Klein visits Azik, his old teacher from when Klein(old Klein) studied history at the university. He asks Azik about Hornacis and the Antigonus family, because Klein wants to know more about what he keeps hearing (Hornacis, Flegrea) and other Beyonder things. Azik recognizes the terms, but can't quite put a finger on it. Then revealed is a huge skeletal structure as Klein leaves, showing Azik is a secret Beyonder
