| What can i tell... just one of my all-time favorite series finale episodes. Damn, that kiss was intense, and thank you to anyone decided to not showing Chiyo discovering Kiyoshi and Hana together... also, Anzu, you're special. Wish you all the best whether it's gonna be with Shingo or without. Go on, Mari, keep talking and mocking... it will be great when those guys will answer to you back to back and make your castle of false security collapse. It's time... hell yeah. Somehow (in late 2018 when i first watched the full series) i was convinced the USC would have won, but when Meiko finally noticed "Gakuto" (regardless of his and Jouji's different height) was too silent and didn't act wild as usual especially in such a despair moment, finally everything went "all according to plan" and i enjoyed hard every second of it. Chiyo replacing Jouji was a genius move and she's so brave for all of it. The real Gakuto may have not entered into the deciding scene with dignity, but deserves praise for the entire plan, acting clutch with such a short timespan and all the pressure in the world, and managing to spend the entire cold night almost with no clothes and in hiding. "accetto con piacere le anime di voi... UOMINI." (obviously epic and amazing in italian dub too) And watching Hana going full sore loser and kicking Kiyoshi before being stopped by Mari (of all people) made this payback even more satisfying. They're free. Kiyoshi x Chiyo, Gakuto x Mitsuko, Shingo x Anzu, will they all sail as ships? Ando is probably enjoying his time as a punching bag and Jouji, well... he's loyal to his ants. Didn't even expect a after credits scene, and even if almost a decade later there is no season 2 and now it seems extremely unlikely, i feel like it's for the greater good that the animated series ends here. Not gonna lie, i wanted to see more of Kate, Risa and Mitsuko plus the USC's turn in prison and still it was great to see the ASC personally escort them to their new... office, but i'll settle for less and keep a brave face on it, it's been easier this time compared to many others. In hindsight, during some years of the last decade that italian dub for anime seemed even more unlikely for any kind of genre to happen possibly to an all-time low level, it seems unbelievable that Prison School of all shows received one. i'm not a man into ecchi and still had so much fun than expected, the ending was a joy to go through, stopped at the probable most perfect time and raised my vote even higher. 9/10 |

| atlast around half a decade later after completing the manga came around to watch the adaptation of the first half.It still is a travesty how the manga ended but can't deny how glorious and riveting the first half was . JC staff did a phenomenal job capturing it on screen .Haven't come across any show which transverses the thin line of ecchi goodness and normie anime masterfully.The setting of suspense and delivery made the right kind of impact to want for more.A bro like Gakuto is a gem in a vast sea .World would be a better place with more of them.Chiyo is best gal but fuku kaichou is delicious topping which i want lol. 8/10 |
| AMAZING. Brought tears to my eyes. No better waifu than Gakuto😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Look at how far theyve come.. I can't help but think the "free" frame at the end was an ode to the "Free!" anime series. Looking forward to the OVAs and picking up the manga. Above Ground Student Council time.    10/10 |

| Absurd in the best way possible, with comedy that doesn't overstay its welcome and a surprising amount of heartfelt moments. Just as good as when I first saw it 5 years ago. 8/10 |
| Damn, I thought I knew what I was getting into and expected to eventually feel it ending up at the fine-ish range but the second half really picked up with crazy twists and intriguing developments! I'm glad I finally got the context behind the intense Hana - Kiyoshi scene too xD, I always wondered what could've resulted in that and, sure enough, there was no way in hell I was going to guess anything even remotely close to that. I know that the manga has a god awful ending, so I'll just stick to a summary or something but I'll check out the OVA. An episode to see how the roles reversed will go? Genius ploy by the creator indeed. And some new faces too, feels like there's more to them than that catches the eye. Nice to see the boys getting the well-deserved seishun treatment. Anzu-chan and Shingo ship sailing was a bonus, for sure. Gakuto pulling the drive out of his arse and the manly spirit touching the Principal's heart was hilarious. Almost left a bigger impression than the impressive plan that was carried out. To think Chiyo-chan would get so actively involved, got to give props to her. Solid 8/10 from here! Off to the OVA at 5 am, lol. |
