| They really made an episode about ballpark food, well more like bentos. I mean, there's still the typical beers you'd see around. The weather wasn't good but the crowd still showed up. Motor Suns' mascot is still hilarious on the field. |

| This show is honestly so underrated. I really thought it was just gonna be goonerslop, but it’s such a cute and wholesome watch. Another really nice episode, this time I loved all 3 mini chapters. The players’ partners/wives are becoming one of the best part of the show. Mitsui and Kojiro’s girls competing to buy the most bentos and support their man was so cute, goals. They didn’t think it through though, if you buy all the bentos that means people will go for the other ones lmao. Ruriko being jealous of Murata’s work friend was cute, but turns out she’s chill af and knows ball. Would be nice to see more of her in the show. Poor Natsuno over here just wants a chance to show off her legs 😂 Loved the ending sm. Ruriko befriending the girl at the game with her dad and making sure she appreciates moments like these with her old man was sweet. Daddy daughter bonding time is always nice. Good ep as per! |

| The first half was really fun to watch as Koutarou met a new employee, Shimizu, who also came to the ballpark to watch the game. Once she offered to sit with him, I knew things were about to get more interesting. Later, Koutarou calls over the vendor girl, who happens to be Ruriko. Once she saw him with another girl, she didn’t care that Shimizu was just his junior at the office—this was an act of betrayal. It was hilarious when she tried to outsmart Shimizu with game knowledge, only to be completely humbled. Then comes Natsuno, who saw her "prince" with Shimizu and lost it as well. When Koutarou ordered beer again and Ruriko filled his cup until it overflowed as revenge, and then Natsuno came out to return the change—only to witness it and give a thumbs-up in approval—it was too funny. To them, it really felt like their future man was cheating on them. The second half with the “wife and girlfriend” fighting it out to prove their man was better—only to suffer themselves—was gold. I’m sure they won’t be ordering more than necessary lunch boxes next time. When the game was paused due to the rain, the great Sun-Shiro came forth to lift the fans’ spirits. I would’ve loved to see more of his gags. And Ruriko hiding her face from Koutarou because her makeup was gone—that was just too cute. |

| Natsuna and Ruriko already get jealous about Koutarou, even having hardly any relationship with him. So, heading for harem territory? "Who is that girl showing off her legs?" She is Hotaru Shimizu, Natsuna, but your Legendary Legs still stir our imaginations. I hope Mitsui and Kojiro both like and llitle plumpness on their girls, because they are going to get some. Note Mitsui surname and Kojiro given name on the theme bentos. Which signifies higher status? |

| Now it's a harem! The first segment has both Ruriko and Yamada getting NTRed by Murata's coworker. Shimizu's kind of cute. She doesn't yet have that aura of despair about her like Murata does. Give her a year at this company, and we'll see how she turns out. Second segment, I would be collecting the shit out of those player bentos. Gotta catch 'em all. Third segment, Sunshiro is still Gigachad, and Ruriko proves herself to be one of the strongest anime characters of all time by standing in the rain and not ending up bedridden. She works hard, I'll give her that. Fantastic episode. |

| I did not expect a love triangle at the ballpark but here we are, although Murata has no idea of the rivalry haha. Regarding the other rivalry between the wife and girlfriend of the baseball players, I half expected for both of them to become friends and share the bentos that they bought, maybe in the future. |
| Jealousy was present in this episode - Ruriko and Natsuno felt threatened by Koutarou's co-worker. It was adorable to see the jealous chibi Ruriko. Although it's not a romantic anime, it's hard for me to choose between Ruriko and Natsuno. The segment where Kojirou's wife and Mitsui's girlfriend compete to see who buys the most lunchboxes was hilarious. I'm jealous: those guys are living a dream, having two women who support them even though they don't like baseball. It's such an underrated show, the one that makes my day the most. |

| Last bit of the episode with the rain really hit with me even if I’m not a sports guy, mainly because I also love outdoor venues for the weather aspect, one example I think of is the Billy Strings concert at Red Rocks on 5/11/23 where it rained and influenced the setlist of the show, I can even use my deadhead knowledge and bring up 6/30/95 with rain influence songs in the 2nd set, I know none of this has anything to do with the show but I can tell you no one else besides me is gonna bring up stuff like this lol. Cherry on top of this bit had to be when the rain cleared tho, I felt like I was there at the game with them ready to see the team win, very nice stuff, I liked the addition of the middle schooler and her dad here as well. Of course that wasn’t the only segment of the episode, the other two also had their share of great moments like Murata somehow getting a harem at the baseball stadium with the addition of his coworker Shimizu, although she appeared as a homewrecker to Yamada and Ruriko lol. And I also loved the bit with the babes of Kojiro and Mitsui battling with their bentos, those men got some real one right there, hopefully Mitsui can put a ring on Kisa just like Kojiro did with Yuki. |

| The ballpark is becoming Murata's go-to place for a rest, though meeting his new hired junior colleague of Hotaru Shimizu who's also an ardent fan, his company gets bigger by one. Of course, Ruriko seeing the sight of some other woman beside him sure ticks her off. Though she can't fight off against Shimizu in her baseball knowledge, Ruriko is utterly defeated in every regard. It's the same story with Natsuno feeling belligerent that her Prince Charming has somebody else with him, and furthermore, she's able to show off her legs. But being rivlas in love, what deep respect lols. The meal pack for the wives and partners of the MotorSuns's players, as such with Yuki and Mitsui's girlfriend of Kisa Kondo, the food battle gets too intense that fans miss out on the raw deal. At the very least, they have a rivalry in common, and I could see them becoming good friends in the future. Rain or shine, the baseball game goes on for the Chiba MotorSuns against the favourites of Fukuoka Styx, and more than Murata getting forced to buy beer, the players anticipating a good call of wind, the rain delay unfounately pelters fans, like the father-daughter duo of Koki and Megumi Sodeguara. Still, the dampening of the rain doesn't faze Ruriko, having her makeup already drenched by the rain and not giving a care otherwise, and at the very least of the weather improving, the wins also deliver. Man, the side characters really do make their point clear. |
