| Great episode to start the year |
| First episode of the year. Haibara seems to know things about cheating lol. And Miwako Satou-san appears again after a veerrrrryy loooong timeeee. Now with her boyfriend again on the crime scene. No Megure keibou this time. DC loves B'z so much. New OP. Otae-san of Gintama will be very happy about this. |

| We have a new OP from B'z, and their songs never disappoint. That being said, the visuals of the OP weren't that good compared to some of the previous ones. So the Shogi master seems to have a pretty good idea on who it is. I would suspect the dark haired woman with the spare key since she had the spare and since the hot food that she was supposed to get she said that they had run out, which is a little suspicious especially after the Shogi master suspected something after touching the counter. Though perhaps that's a little too obvious and it's a red herring. We still don't know what he felt. Perhaps it was hot, perhaps it was cold (for the ice cream), or perhaps it was wet (for the coffee). While logically, it would be quite a struggle for a woman to choke a man with a cord, perhaps he was knocked out beforehand. Perhaps the missing Shogi table legs holds the answer. |

| I get that Yumi wanted Conan as cover, but wouldn't it make her stand out more? I mean they already know each other. Surprised that the Detective Boys didn't try to follow them. Many familiar faces coming back in this three-parter, I see. Looking forward to the next one. Two down... two more to go. Three and a half years worth of episodes until I finally catch up. A little under that due to anime break weeks even. Getting closer... |
