| The biggest edgelord I ever came across is Yusei from Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's. He's super hardcore because he used to belong to a street gang, goes to prison, gets a face tattoo, gets tortured, rides a rad motorcycle and always saves the day by winning in a children's card game. And the first OP isn't any less edgy than the MC himself: Tbf I don't understand those who only think of edginess as a negative thing. It can be silly if some younger kids take it seriously and actually think that broody, tragic characters are the epitome of cool, but it doesn't mean that self-aware people can't enjoy them either. Many "edgy" series mentioned in this thread are popular for a good reason. Imo only idiots let buzzwords change their opinions and ruin their enjoyment. |
