Tu Bian Yingxiong X Episode 2 Discussion

Well I am honestly really confused about the status of Moon. Was it a dream, a vision of the future, an alternate reality, or something else that Nice saw at the end of last episode? Regardless, this episode was an interesting look at Moon's character. I appreciated how she felt trapped as an accessory to Nice and wanted to finally be free again - this seems to be the key feeling of most of the heroes and villains shown so far. They are all forced to ever increasingly play into a role that is predetermined for them rather than live out their own dreams. This was the same for Nice's rival this episode too, who seemed to feel genuine sadness at the death of Nice given their history and original shared dream. The action was brilliant again this episode; it was stylish, snappy and overwhelming in a good way. It seems at this point that the art style change is purely for aesthetic reasons, with it switching for the fight. Whilst it is a little jarring it looks great so I can't complain too much. The interviewer from last episode showed back up at the end so it seems he will be somewhat of an ongoing antagonist, especially now that he is teaming up with some kind of evil organisation.

@InfinityDude88 There's a couple theories bouncing in my head. Obviously she could have been replaced like Nice was but I think that is unlikely. She could be replaced and impersonated by a villain but that also seems unlikely as she knows Nice isn't real.

I don't really have any good theories at the moment but my best (stretch of the word) is that it has something to do with the trust power of Heroes. I don't know what I think that is but I think it is involved

is 2d animation or world about idealism while 3d animation or world about realism or even nihilism?

@Eragonnogare I don't think so. It's already announced that each character will get a few episodes. Like Nice only takes the first 4 episodes.

Do these villains also get trust value? Spotlight use fear but Nice's nemesis didn't look like it. Why does he have trust?

@deg yeah, nice has always been able to fly. That's why lin was confused when nice just fell instead of flew.

Good episode, enjoyable, can't wait for another one, still unknown for the cliffhanger of the previous one I guess it's gonna be explained later.

@S10atMAL I think the Nemesis still gets trust, Nice is being elevated by people for being mainstream hero, so there will be always people whom hate him so they would root for his enemy, similar case to Loser Ranger where you see individuals rooting for villains in small scenes.

Judging by the work of this director/screenwriter in link click, I believe that this "dream" has a meaning later in the story, I don't think he would create all this atmosphere for nothing

@deg 2d is the perspective of the character, while3d is the third person perspective

The dead Xiao Yueqin is like a premonition, a hallucination caused by tiredness

Judging by the work of this director/screenwriter in link click, I believe that this "dream" has a meaning later in the story, I don't think he would create all this atmosphere for nothing
